The location is fairly remote with no local shop, but the villages surrounding are a short drive (or long walk) away. Beautiful part of the country and plenty of walks to do if you have a dog with you like we did. Lovely friendly owners we met in the pub briefly. One suggestion that perhaps would make the shower safer in the cottage is to have a hand rail above the bath to hold on to when getting in and out of the bath and a longer non-slippery bath mat in the bath. However the cottage was very comfortable and clean and was just right for what we wanted. It is situated in a lovely part of English countryside and despite the inclement weather we were able to take our little dog for lovely walks near the cottage.
