The house was very clean, the view is amazing. It was a short drive to Sault Ste. Marie, for my husband and sons fishing trip would definitely recommend this property.
The house was clean and nicely supplied. The lakefront, deck and property were beautiful. Our grandchildren had such a wondeful time on the beach and swimming.
We all had a wonderful time! It was quiet and peaceful and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. We watched ships move to the west and enjoyed the sounds of gently waves. Just perfect and we look forward to stay ing again next year. Thank you to the host for a wonderful time.
The Kreft's, and the Califf's
We loved that they allowed pets! It was quite a drive back and forth to sault saint marie but it was worth it. The house was very clean and comfortable. The outside really needed some love. When we drove up the curb appeal is not fantastic. Broken chairs on the deck and trash in the front yard. Not well maintained at all. The beach was a wonderful addition as was the fire pit. So I gave 4 stars for the appearance and lack of care on the outside but everything inside was very comfortable. No hairdryer on site so make sure to bring your own.
The home was clean and the views were wonderful! Would have liked more kitchen pans and baking sheets as supplies were very limited. Other than that, we had a fabulous time!
A good stay for our family. Very clean. Some quirks of the property but nothing that really deterred from our stay. The refrigerator was pretty loud. Walking to the water, the steps require you to go slow.
We enjoyed our stay very much. There was room for everyone and plenty of things to see and do. Sitting on the deck listening to the waves and looking at beautiful Lake Superior (and seeing some freighters) was a fabulous experience. We enjoyed having lake access and being able to take walks along the beach. Downsides were the slow internet and the very uncomfortable living room furniture and mattresses. Luckily, there are lots of pros which outweighed the cons.
The house is surprisingly updated for such a remote area. We enjoyed the coffee bar, spacious and comfortable deck, as well as the firepit. A tree fell over the entrance to the driveway. While we were able to hold it back to pass through, the owner was out the next day to get rid of it.
We visited for our Annual family Upper Peninsula and we absolutely loved this property! We had our 4 month old with us and there was plenty of space to set up his pack and play and a changing area/station. We had family join us for one night as well and we were able to easily cook and entertain the entire day at the property. The fire ring was placed in a great spot and we combed the beach for rocks as well. Waking up to the views of Superior was amazing and listening to the waves crash through the night was so peaceful! The large decks made for really relaxing space outside for meals and drinks. We’ve already talked about coming back to this property because it was wonderful! Host even had an awesome coffee center setup that we used each morning.
Beautiful! Very clean, well-equipped, comfortable beds. Reasonable proximity to the falls and whitefish point. Stunning lakeshore property with sandy beach as in photos.
Everything was great!! House was perfect for our group. Plenty of room, wonderful deck facing the lake, very comfortable. We grilled out one night, walked on the beach and swam in the lake! House was well stocked and clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful stay!
House was comfortable. Items provided were either very low or empty. It would have been nice to have some dry wood provided for a fire. Railings on deck and steps to the beach in need of repair. Beautiful location and access to the beach. Overall we had a nice stay.
We arrived on Wednesday to clean ranch home. The lakeside deck was where you could find us at any part of the day. The view was magnificent and private. A person could hear the waves and the wind in this setting. All the amenities were what we needed for this upnorth Vrbo.
Great clean property on Lake Superior. We enjoyed walks up and down the beach. Completed amazing engineering projects in the sand. Took day trips to Whitefish Point and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, and Mackinac Island. Also went to Tahquamenon Falls and then Newberry for Pizza and ice cream. Owner is great.
