Room was excellent and quiet, with a comfortable bed and a nice view. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Only complaint was that my wife found the hairdryer much too hot and was not adjustable; also the bathroom fan did not seem to be working.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms, staff and amenities are all First Rate. And the view from our room overlooking the Zoo was unbelievable. Who wakes up with Kangaroos running around just outside their window?
Our only caution is it is a bit remote, far from public transit and walking through the pitch black Tiergarten at night is not an option.

"I would be careful booking this hotel as a new couple or just friends as the bathrooms leave very little to the imagination. The bathroom is not a separate room to the bedroom. Only a curtain to pull across with glass from the sink to the shower and only a frosted glass door to the toilet. Not private ..."
