While the hotel is a short 15-minute walk from the train station, we arrived late at night and were advised to advance book a taxi to ensure we had transportation to the hotel. "Basic hotel with no frills. Car park right outside, the bed was clean and comfortable and we had a little bathroom. No lift. Various restaurants within the vicinity and the ibis styles has a bar if you want a drink. Right off the motorway but the double glazing was excellent. 10 minutes into angouleme by car. Cheap hotel just for a quick stop over."
