Situated in the grounds of Fernhill Heights, it's right on the South West coastal path and only a short drive, or longer stroll, into both Charmouth and Lyme Regis. A studio apartment with separate bathroom and fully-fitted kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave and all equipment needed. There's a king-size bed (folded away to create extra room), sofa bed, tv w/ Netflix, WiFi outside chairs and more. The space A lovely quiet spot with private outside space overlooking the Blackdown Hills. The surrounding area is woodsy and beautiful and as a Chicago expat, I was absolutely blown away by the night sky. You can see the Milky Way! I highly recommend taking the semi-wooded trail from the property through "the Spittles" to Lyme Regis. It's a fantastic mini-hike. Just be sure to wear good boots if it's wet outside- we got into a good amount of mud in the Spittles, but it was worth it for the views. The Ammonite Pavement just past Lyme Regis is a must-see and we found loads of fossils and sea glass on the pebble beaches between Lyme Regis and Charmouth- no tools required. Just a sharp eye. All in all, we were really pleased with this booking. The price and location were fantastic, the owners were very friendly and responsive, and I can't think of any areas in which the experience was lacking.
