Nice old world cottage. Well equipped, but lounge fire did not work and microwave turntable did not rotate.
Very steep staircase with quite small steps meant care had to be taken, as with ducking through the low front door!
Nice having a garden and views of horses in adjacent field.
Good communication from owner, beautiful thatch cottage near to Netherbury village. Enjoyed peace and quiet and wonderful garden.
Kitchen required a little more tlc but on the whole for a period property very good.
Should be noted there is no gate to the side of the building nor fencing all round although there are hedgerows which for some may create problems with dogs.
If you like walking this is a good area for that, villages within easy walking distance and plenty of footpaths.
Low entrance door (about 5 foot high) and steep stairs to the bedroom but to be expected in such a building.
