"We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel during a one-night stay while passing through on a road trip. We arrived late at night, hoping to get some rest, but that quickly became impossible. Our neighboring room was smoking indoors, to the point that smoke alarms were going off intermittently. The television was blaring loudly well past midnight, and they also had a dog that barked frequently as people went in and out of the room. At one point, someone knocked on their door and the volume was briefly lowered, but it remained unreasonably loud for hours afterward. As a result, we were unable to sleep and did not feel safe during our stay. This was not my first time visiting Grants Pass, and I’m aware that some hotels in the area have long-term guests. Because of this, and out of concern for our safety, we chose not to report the issue during the night and instead focused on leaving as early as possible. We did bring this to the attention of the front desk at checkout, but were disappointed that there was little interest in the details—they didn’t even ask which room was involved. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, and not a place we would recommend, even for a short stay."

"We stayed on our way to Portland and liked it so much we returned on our way home. We upgraded to the king suite on our second stay and really enjoyed the view and the fireplace. Staff are friendly and breakfast was really good.only reason I gave this 4 stars is because on our first stay, the bed was hard and we could hear the guest in the next room who checked in at 11pm."
