The apartment is massive 56m2 which includes a large living and dining area, newly re-fitted kitchen, one double bedroom (King size bed) with ensuite shower room, one bunk room, one bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. There is a cabin area with bunk beds in the hallway, this is a cosy but spacious area separated by a curtain for privacy. The sofa bed coverts to 2 full size single beds, with good mattresses that can be put together or separated. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, full size oven/grill, induction hob, soup maker, slow cooker, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and more kitchenware than you will need to self cater for 6 people.The apartment Sleeps 6 comfortably. Free underground parking is provided, with easy access to the apartment lifts for unloading. FREE UNLIMITED and very reliable WIFI in the apartment (serves only our apartment) also Satellite TV with endless English and French Channels and large 32 inch screen. There is a large balcony with seating and stunning views across the mountains. We have now owned the apartment for 14 years and have made many improvements and additions. If you have stayed in any Les Cybeles apartments before ours has many extras and advantages. We have tried to keep additional costs to a minimum, secure underground parking is free, WIFI and Satellite TV are free. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. You can bring your own towels and bedding, or hire from us at just the cost for laundering. Duvets (1 king size, 5 singles), blankets and pillows are supplied. We supply tea, coffee and sugar . In addition soap, shower gel, cleaning materials, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets will all be in the apartment. All linen you have ordered will be in the apartment so you don't need to queue at reception. There is plenty of storage space and lots of hooks for drying wet ski clothes. We have negotiated a 40% discount on ski and equipment hire at Intersport in the village and next to the gondola. Keys will be in a key safe outside the apartment, including a fob to open the underground garage. You will be given a security number for the key safe once we have received your final payment. You can therefore arrive as late as you like with no fear of not getting in! A car is helpful in the summer, but for the winter season everything you need is close by. The gondola is 600m away; a 10 minute walk or there is a ski bus which runs from the bottom of the drive every 15 minutes which goes directly to the gondola. All the amenities of Bride Les Bain are less than a 5 minute walk. If you have a car there is an enormous 'Super U' supermarket a few minutes away on the Moutiers road which is very good value. Without a car it would be worth a taxi trip to stock up on food for the week if you are self catering as it is much cheaper than the local small super market. Brides-les-Bains in the Savoie region is a genuinely all-year-round resort village. It is part of the 3 Valleys, height 600 m and connects to the ski slopes by gondola located only 600 m from the apartment which takes you to the Meribel ski runs, and from there you have access to the whole of the three valleys. Brides-les-Bains is also famous for its thermal spa and bathing facilities dedicated to weight loss and muscular or joint problems. The unique 1500 m2 spa for your after ski, or summer relaxation features hammam (Turkish steam baths), sauna, body care and a relaxation room. The Spa makes the town ideal if you are a mixed group of skiers and non-skiers. In the summer Brides les Bain is as lively as in the winter and is a great base to explore the Alps (walking, mountain biking, horse riding, white water rafting, kayaking etc). It is a very pretty town with a central river area, lots of lovely shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, but without the high prices of the rest of the three valleys. There is an excellent market every Wednesday in the summer months. Within a 5 minute walk of the apartment you will find a post office, chemist, doctors surgery, numerous and varied shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Also a disco and casino! Bride Les Bain is an incredibly pretty and friendly little town, with a beautiful central river area and everything you need for both a winter ski holiday and summer activities or Spa. The Three Valleys, in the heart of the French Alps has rightly earned its name as the largest integrated skiing area in the world. 330 marked ski-slopes offer a total of 600 kilometres of pure skiing enjoyment. Thanks to around 180 ski-lifts, the ski-slopes (between 1300m and 3200 m) are reached quickly and easily, including glacier areas. The enormous infrastructure of ski-runs and lifts connects not only the large ski stations at Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Meribel-Mottaret and Courchevel with one another but also the up-and-coming smaller skiing locations at Saint Martin and La Tania. The Belleville valley, with the ski stations St. Martin, Les Menuires and Val Thorens, the Courchevel valley with its tiered landscape districts of Courchevel 1300, 1550, 1650 and 1850 are all connected together with the centrally situated Méribel valley into a massive skiing area. Good Skiers can experience all three valleys of the skiing area in a single day, having the choice of countless ski-runs. However there is something for everyone from easy to difficult runs, so that experienced skiers as well as beginners can enjoy the three Valleys. There are several funparks and their own area for boardercross and halfpipe in each of the three valleys. Val Thorens, (2,300m) lures 1,500 snowboarders every December from across the whole world to the legendary Boarderweek, with competitions, concerts and numerous events. Skiers are also offered extra variety with countless mogul runs, endless deep-snow slopes, demanding tours and the possibility to go heli-skiing. Cross-country skiers are well catered for with 118 kilometres of well marked trails. In addition there many snow-shoe treks on marked routes of different lengths and difficulty levels. There are four different toboggan runs, which may also be used at night, The Tête Ronde toboggan run in Val Thorens, the highest run of its kind in Europe is 6 kilometres long; it starts at a height of 3000 metres, and ends at 700 metres. A journey that takes approximately 30 minutes. Other toboggan runs – including one for inflatable toboggans, amongst other things - can be found in Courchevel and Les Menuires. There are many ski and boarding schools in Meribel, including ESF but also several English schools. The Olympic Centre in Meribel has an ice rink, Olympic size pool with kids pool and slides, and crèche facilities, All literally just at the top of the Gondola from Brides Les Bain. Sally, the owner, is always so friendly and helpful and provides some very useful advice and instructions. We were very pleased to return to this apartment which is charged at a really reasonable price and includes the use of a larger than average fridge, washing machine and continuous wifi, which are facilities not always available in some apartments. It is also good to have a parking space and ski locker. We would always recommend this apartment to others. ##### Elizabeth F. A great way to access Les Trois Vallees! We, a family of four, had a lovely 10 days in this apartment in Brides-Les-Bains. The apartment is conveniently located, a short 5 minutes walk from the village centre, where you have a telecabine to go up and access the fantastic Trois Vallees ski area. Even better access points/lifts are nearby, only a 15-20m drive by car, parking space available everywhere, sometimes free, sometimes paid. In Sally you'll find a great host, very friendly, supportive and responsive, always willing to provide more information or answer any questions, going beyond of what can be expected. The pre-arrival information is very detailed and accurate and covers much more than just directions, check-in and information about the apartment. Becks from Extreme Ski Services provides on site support, arranges your ski passes and breakfast on the first day, if needed. Sally very kindly provides you with a coupon for a 40% discount for ski rental at Intersport in the village, best to order skis etc. in advance, as they don't have a large stock. There is a Spar in the village and a large Super U at about 6kms in Moutiers. The apartment is spacious, with nice sleeping arrangements, two bath rooms and a small but very well equipped kitchen. Cleaning tools also available and linen provided (against a small fee). Free parking space in the garage in the building and a locker to put your skis during the night. There are a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna in the adjacent apartment building, however unfortunately due to Covid regulations the jacuzzi and sauna were closed, as was the Intersport shop downstairs. The reception is hardly open, but you really only need it to get the code for the swimming pool. In short, we had a very nice time and we would certainly recommend Sally and her excellent value-for-money apartment to any next visitors! Thank you. ##### R en R v. Et pourtant nous étions 8\. Proche du centre de Bride-les-bains et de la télécabine de l'Olympe grâce à une navette gratuite. La communication avec Sally est excellente, nous recommandons ce logement dans une residence très calme où tout s'est bien passé. Au plaisir d'y retourner à nouveau. Il est par ailleurs très bien situé par rapp6au telecabine de l Olympe. Le seul bémol est la mention de la piscine et spa. Celle ci est reservée aux locataires de la résidence Lagrange et non aux locataires des particuliers comme nous l a appris le gardien. Elle n est donc pas hors service comme l avait dit Sally. ##### Camille D. Seul bémol le personnel de l intersport de l Olympe Très bel appartement. Tres bien aménagé et équipé. Propriétaire très sympa et à l écoute de ses clients. Pour les futurs clients reservez vos casiers à ski à la mairie c est beaucoup moins cher qu a la télécabine de l Olympe (20 euros la semaine par personne et en espèces uniquement) ##### christian g. Appartement très bien équipé, notamment pour cuisiner. La résidence est bien desservie par une navette gratuite qui fait les aller-retours à la télécabine de l'Olympe qui emmène sur le domaine skiable de Meribel en 30 minutes environ. Compter une heure au total au départ de l'appartement jusque sur les pistes. Communication excellente avec Sally la propriétaire, nombreuses explications dans les mails reçus. Réduction très intéressante grâce à Sally pour la location des skis à Intersport, équipe charmante, vraiment appréciable ! Résidence très calme. Bonne literie Peut être faudrait il prévoir un appareil a raclette. Bémol pour le ski pas très pratique trop loin des remontées et il faut 30 mn pour accéder à Méribel centre via l olympe. The place was not entirely clean on our arrival but apparently this was a one-off. The owner went out of her way to solve this mishap and to make us feel comfortable again. Someone came over and we got a discount. The rest of the stay we received useful information about the skiing conditions and lift openings. The place is nicely decorated, well equipped and cosy.
