"I traveled there by my own car. Street parking was available, and the location was easy to find. The address and location itself were good. However, check-in is only available until 4:00 PM; if you arrive late, you are out of luck. They do not accept check-ins after that. For someone traveling for business, having to go to the hotel within these hours can cause disruptions to other work. The bed was very old; in fact, one side was sagging, so I couldn't trust it. I could only sleep on the very...

"1 night stay for my parents as a gift to my father’s 90th birthday. Stay was during the hot wave in Europe, 40degrees during the day, still very hot at night and they accommodated them in a room room without A/C (although when my Mom asked, they told her some rooms have A/C). Paying equivalent of 300 USD per night on a regular weekday, one would expect room with A/C. Besides that, road works started just under their window at 6am. The spa treatments were apparently great, but the accommodation...

"Although the receptionist didn’t speak any English, between google translate and point and smiling, we were checked in early and shown around the hotel. The breakfast was good. Our room had an awkward shower/tub set up with no shower curtain, but we made the best of it. I think this is a very popular hotel as the weather warms up because there’s a popular road cycling trail and Straznice is central on that map. We were only here two nights, but there’s a couple real good bakeries across the...

I think this is a very popular hotel as the weather warms up because there’s a popular road cycling trail and Straznice is central on that map. We were only here two nights, but there’s a couple real good bakeries across the street and a great restaurant/pub close by also. Beautiful town but be careful walking along the Main Street , it’s very busy and tons of lorries going through town"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Březová?

The best area to stay in Březová is generally around the town centre, particularly near the main square and along the road leading towards the Luhačovice Reservoir.

This area offers the most convenience for visitors, with accommodation options often within walking distance of local amenities. You'll find a selection of guesthouses and smaller hotels here. The main square often hosts local markets or events, providing a glimpse into local life.

For those seeking a relaxing stay with access to nature, the area closer to the Luhačovice Reservoir is ideal. This part of Březová offers a more tranquil setting, with opportunities for walks along the water's edge and enjoying the surrounding countryside. It's particularly well-suited for couples looking for a peaceful escape.

Families might find the town centre more practical due to easier access to local shops and eateries.

When is the best time to go to Březová?

The best time to visit Březová is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities and the natural surroundings are at their most picturesque.

During late spring, the countryside around Březová comes alive with blooming flowers and lush greenery. Temperatures are generally mild, making it ideal for exploring the local walking trails, such as those leading to the nearby Březová Reservoir or through the Chřiby Hills. This period is also superb for couples looking for scenic strolls and enjoying the peaceful rural setting without the intense heat of summer.

Early autumn offers equally agreeable weather, with comfortable temperatures and the added beauty of changing leaf colours. This season is particularly good for those interested in outdoor pursuits like cycling or foraging, as the forests are often bountiful. Solo travellers who appreciate quiet contemplation and photography will find the autumnal landscapes around Březová particularly rewarding.

While summer (July-August) can be warm, it's also a good time to visit if you enjoy water activities at the reservoir.
