"What a beautiful place to stay! A working farm, where they grow apples and produce the best apple juice we have ever tasted. The host was welcoming, a great cook, and full of information about the local region. Why stay in a city hotel when you can experience an authentic French farm, almost like going back 100 years in time to a charming and beautiful world of green, rolling hills. Highly recommended!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer."

"We liked the location. It was easy to get to places via the rail link, situated nearby. Katie and Olivier were extremely helpful and made our stay more enjoyable with their suggestions for places to visit and local restaurants in which to eat."

"We had a great family room for our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Air conditioned, nice pool in a small garden, We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast , generous serving sizes and great apple juice. Hotel is just across La Cite, walking distance from the castle and restaurants. Highly recommend it."
"The manager and staff are very friendly, welcoming and so obviously love running a hotel and making guests feel at home.
The room is spacious and pristine which must take a ton of effort because parts of the hotel infrastructure are a bit worn down and could do with a renovation.
The welcome biscuits were a nice touch although I sadly have a dairy intolerance so could not eat them but the other member of my party sniffled them up.
The aircon is a must especially with it being 40C outside. It seemed to be struggling a bit so that may need investment.
I loved how the hotel is nestled in the hills and a short walk to La Cite of Carcassone.
The swimming pool was very welcome in the long afternoons."
"Staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the hotel facilities exceeded my expectations. Air con in the room was great, I enjoyed having a balcony (room 208), the pool area was lovely and breakfast choice was good. A bonus was the use of a water cooler/hot water machine in the corridor. Very close to the castle area."
"Great place to stay in the centre of Carcassonne. Transfer back from and to car park was smooth and actually quite fun. The garden courtyard is a great place to cool off, have a drink or have breakfast. It was essential for us as we had our dog with us. Rooms are good but ours was very small. Great partner restaurant next door. Room quite soundproof from the partying going on nearby. Air con was a blessing. It's a quick stroll to everything Carcassonne has to offer."
