Had three kids under 10\. We could walk to downtown easily, kids could play at the playgound next door and be called in for dinner and fire! The house is very spacious. Mostly older kids games like puzzles and boardgames. The kitchen is dated and maybe a bit limited for extensive meals in, but you are close to anything you want in town, so it's not hard to give up. That said, we did have a couple of things happen when we arrived. On a positive note, we arrived over an hour early and were given permission to go ahead in. We were given the lock code earlier in the day, and when we entered it we couldn't get in, so we quickly texted the manager and the correct number was issued. Upon entering, we felt a tad chilly as it was late September, so we turned on the heat, but no heat came on. The manager was notified and an HVAC company was called immediately. (We thought to ourselves good thing we came early.) The HVAC guy said he needed a part, so no heat for the night and thankfully, 5 space heaters were delivered. Apparently the part was not available because we never saw the HVAC guy again and we used space heaters for the duration of our 3 night stay. Not a huge deal, but something we worried a bit about and we didn't hear anything more from the manager. We enjoyed our stay and the house was roomy and comfortable despite the issues we had. (Just a heads up- the bathroom on the first floor is in the main bedroom, so you have to walk through someone's room to enter.) ##### Jane D.
