"When checking in I inquired about the pool and hot tub. I was told the pool was closed because of "the chemicals" and the hot tib was permanently closed. These were the only reason I was willing to pay as much as I did for the stay. The pool was opened the next day, but the hot tub was in disrepair. Breakfast was not great either. Biscuits with no gravy. or when there was gravy, it was very watery and unappetizing. Something had been spilled in the elevator and it took a couple of days for it to be swept up. Not what I expected from a Wyndham property."

"Dear Expedia Support, I am writing to formally request a refund regarding a recent booking that did not meet the agreed standards and was significantly misrepresented. Upon arrival, we were informed that the room we had originally booked was unavailable. Instead, we were offered a different room at a reduced price (from $160 to $135). However, this replacement room was of substantially lower quality and did not match the listing we selected at the time of booking. The conditions of the room were unacceptable: - The room was extremely cold, and the provided heater was ineffective and excessively noisy, making it impossible to sleep. - We were forced to sleep in our clothes due to the low temperature. - The sleeping arrangements were inadequate, including uncomfortable mattresses and a fold-out bed that appeared to be assembled from broken furniture. - The bed was placed directly next to a drafty window, causing continuous cold airflow. - There was a strong cigarette odor in the room, indicating it had not been properly cleaned or ventilated. - The space was overcrowded with furniture (including a refrigerator), leaving almost no room to move. - While it initially appeared clean, the room was in fact cluttered and poorly maintained upon closer inspection. After a long journey, we expected basic comfort, including warmth and proper sleeping conditions. Instead, the stay caused significant discomfort and inconvenience. This situation constitutes a clear case of misrepresenta"

"I made a reservation Expedia told me to be there to check in the next day . When I got there they were closed. I had a family emergency so I couldn’t spend the rest of my afternoon stalking the internet going from Expedia to birch suites to figure out why they were close although I did try reaching out to Expedia with no results . So trip cancelled went home . Next day birch suites said since I had made the reservation thru Expedia then they were the ones that had to change my reservation date because their hours had changed without updating them . Expedia told me I was s\*\*\*\*outta luck pretty much so I never got a refund or another reservation.’. My money was stolen by the both of them and this is the best part…..I PAID THE 9 EXTRA DOLLARS THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO GRANTEE ME MY MONEY in case of a situation like my reservation being canceled. What a joke!!!"

"Floors do not look like they have been cleaned. Carpet in hallways old and not well kept. Security card reader on elevator is not working. The wall in our room had a big crack in the plaster from what appears to be from building settling. Breakfast was terrible. Juice machine was not working. They had a waffle maker, cereal, one piece of bread and three muffins when we went down. Next day same thing. No butter or margarine. We had to put down a $40 deposit for incidentals and when it was time to check out the receptionist wasn't sure what to do. We ended up bringing her up to inspect the room and then we got our cash deposit back. TV was hung crooked on the wall. "
