Thanks for your feedback Ned. Yes, there are neighborhood cats sometimes, which is out of my control as a host. This is a studio apartment without a stove. Pictures and listing description is accurate. I had two other properties available with kitchen, Ned chose this one bc it was cheaper. Ned needs lots of assistance, lots of messages, some very inappropriate and racist and I answered promptly every time til as late as 10pm. Guest also makes racist inappropriate regarding political status comments which I didn’t not respond to. Please read all of my other 5 star reviews since 2013 hosting. I work very very hard and am an attentive host. I realize you cannot please every guest, and this is just one of those. Thanks for reading.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when we drove up to our booking. It was not located in a prosperous-looking area. But once the door opened, we found a small but well-thought out room with more than adequate space for all our suitcases, c-paps, and maps, pills and groceries. All electrical appliances worked, plumbing worked—it was great!

This cute studio was perfect for me and my husband. We stayed a week and danced to the amazing Cajun and Zydeco bands that played nearby. Katie is an awesome host, the studio is so cozy, and the bed is comfy! What more can you want?

The house was not available, so we stayed in studio until house was ready. And they moved all our stuff for us while we were with attorneys adopting baby. Always quick to answer on messages. They even provided a playpen for newborn baby. Our stay in house might be longer than a month. And I’m fine with that, because this house has everything I need

Great Option for Overnighting
This was a great option for an overnight stay on a road trip from Texas to Florida. The location is convenient to the interstate, but gives you taste of local flavor. The location of the property is about 15 minutes walk to the historic downtown, but only a few minutes to a nearby supermarket and a fantastic Cajon dance hall. The place is clean and confortable.

Loved it
My husband and I had never been to Louisiana and I have to say that we had an amazing time. This studio apt was very clean and so easy to find. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Katie was very helpful and so nice. She always responded when we needed help. Definitely would stay again.

Very nice
The apartment was very clean and cozy. Perfect size for two people. Everything you needed was there and it is located minutes from town and about ten minutes from Lake Martin. My wife and I were there for a wedding and the location was perfect.

Weekend Away
The weekend was filled with good food. Good music. And the best hosts ever. The cottage was cozy and clean. We enjoyed wonderful blue crabs Friday night at Foti's (The Fruit Stand). Saturday morning we enjoyed the Zydeco breakfast at Buc and Johnny's. Saturday afternoon we attended the 35th Annual Here’s the Beef Cook-off in Opelousas. Great food and Cajun music. Saturday evening we witnessed a beautiful sunset at Lake Martin. Make sure to stop by the Cajun Market Donut Company. The parking lot is always full so we knew it had to be good. We brought King Cakes back home to share. The weekend was just what we needed.

Great stay and great hospitality
The Studio was comfy and had all the amenities I needed with w/d, full size bath, nice bed, seating and kitchenette stuff. I had a private "back porch" separate and private from the adjoining residence. I propped the back door open in the morning to enjoy the light and airiness of January in Louisiana with a hot cup of joe. Katie was informative and kind, updating me on arrival and departures of the guests staying "next door". Great stay and affordable for me as I travel home to Louisiana often to visit with family. Thanks, Katie!

Great host!
The place was cute and cozy and a perfect place for me to stay as a single person. The only thing I have a complaint about is, I would have loved to have sit out on the back porch swing with my morning cup of coffee, but it was dirty. It didn't look like it had been cleaned.... ever. Had it been swept and the swing cleaned of debris and cobwebs, etc, the place would have been perfect. Otherwise, the owner went over and above to make my stay comfortable. Thanks.

Cute apartment close to downtown
My husband and I stayed in the apartment and our friends stayed in the main house. Everyone was pleased with the comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. Katie, our hostess, was very friendly and responded quickly to any inquiries that we had about the property and the town. Highly recommended!

Affordable, adorable and CLEAN
Ms. Riley was helpful and accommodating, and while the outside wasn’t much to look at, I was pleasantly surprised that the inside space was prettily decorated and super clean (and I am picky about cleanliness of rooms)!! We will definitely stay here again, the next time we visit Breaux Bridge. 👍🏻👍🏻
