The place is a nice stay if you are coming anf going. Not much around the area except the busy I-10 traffic and occasional police pulling people over and blue lights on. There was a distinct odor of someone smoking weed.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was acceptable. The only complaints I have is they let a cat roam around in the front lobby as a regular mascot pet that stays at the hotel. Some people don’t have a problem with inside pets, but I’m allergic and it was not something I was expecting. Also, this hotel is really close to the highway and the traffic is noisy all hours of the day and night. Location is convenient within walking distance of a Mexican restaurant and a convenience store that sells Cajun food and Boudin balls. All in all we enjoyed our stay… but as I said just near a busy highway.

Not Ever Disappointed
Awesome as usual!!! This was the 10+ time we've stayed there either just tte 2 of us or with other family members. We live in San Antonio TX just recently relocated from Crestview FL and exit 115 in Henderson LA was and is kinda a halfway point for us to get a great rest in and complete the journey depending on whether we were heading home or visiting family in Crestview FL. My wife and Matriarch of our family is handicapped and Holiday Inn Express in Henderson LA has always gone above and beyond to accommodate our stay there. Our grandchildren love love the hotel big cat they call "Big Mama" and adhere to her diabetic restrictions. Thanks as always for making us feel like a part of your family. Be blessed and those visitors planning a trip to this establishment "enjoy" just like we have and will continue to enjoy on our trips. Tim, Lori McKnight and family 🙏❤️😀

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome Top Notch
The Holiday Inn Express is and always will be our half-way point when traveling from San Antonio TX to Crestview FL and vise versa. The staff has always been wonderful and accommodating to our needs and requests. On this particular visit we were delayed due icy conditions and roadway closures. We weren't able to check in till almost 4 am check out morning, but even with them being packed with visitors and them being able to pass our room to the next in line customer, this was not the case. Our room was ready and comfortable for me and my handicapped wife. You sincerely appreciate the continued support we receive from the staff at this AWESOME location, Tim and Lori McKnight

Everyone is always so welcoming! The only challenge was the toilet from another room making so much noise. I did let management know and it was addressed. The staff also ensured I was as comfortable!

Comfy bed and clean room, but it was over-scented. When we walked in the scent of some type of perfumed cleaning product was absolutely overwhelming. We are very sensitive to these types of scents and my husband immediately began sneezing. After turning on the fan and opening the window for a bit it was better, but we suggest these type of products NEVER be used in their rooms. It was really bad. Not much at the exit where this hotel is located, but right down the interstate a couple of miles at the Breaux Bridge exit is an authentic crawfish restaurant, Crazy Bout Crawfish. Highly recommend!

Although the facility is an older one, the rooms are very well planned so you have everything you need(drawer space, bathroom supplies, closet space). Bed very comfortable, nice linens. Complimentary bottled water. Breakfast selection has everything including a pancake maker!

When I walked into the lobby, I noticed the cleanliness and how clean it smelled. The Christmas decorations are so pretty. Every staff member we encountered was Cheerful l, polite and helpful. The room was very nice, clean and comfy. I will definitely recommend this Holiday Inn to my friends.

The staff was above and beyond. The lady at the front desk was so helpful. They made cookies but we were going to miss them so she saved us some for when we got back. I dropped a dress and an earring and she returned them to me. She was the best!

Heavy truck traffic on Interstate 10. Pretty much a sleepless night. Keep this in mind and book a room away from freeway noise.
