Our arrival at the hotel around 10 AM was challenging. Hotel staff perform multiple duties and there is not always someone at the front desk to open the door. We were forced to wait on the sidewalk for about a half hour until another guest left because there is no communication device at the front door. (Word of advice - make sure your cellular plan is active before you arrive.)
However, from the moment we finally met a staff member, we felt the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Our room was basic but was spacious and very clean. Breakfast exceeded our expectations.

A nice room with welcome air conditioning and a comfortable bed, but overall the experience was disappointing given the expectations of the price point and Mercure brand: only paper cups provided in lieu of glasses; dreadful coffee in the room with only powdered milk that was well past its due date; and paying extra for a sea view is not worth the money as all one can see is a derelict outdoor swimming pool. Bike parking was fine.

Room definitely fit our needs and was very spacious. Unfortunately there was no safe or iron in the room which was disappointing. Food options are also very limited. The staff was nice however and spoke English very well.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were excellent- all very friendly and helpful. We can not comment on the breakfast as we decided to walk into the old town instead which was only an easy 10 minute walk away - and very lovely when you get there. It was great to have onsite parking but it was a bit of a faff as it is fairly tight spaces and you need to use codes to get in and out - but still good to have . The only reason we didn’t mark it excellent was because the on site facilities such as the bar were a bit basic.
Overall great value for money.

Nice place, awesome location, the biggest drawback for me was the Wifi internet was useless, basically didnt work. If you need any internet access think twice about this one.

"Great big bed. No fridge , air con only warm not cold as weird rules in Europe where everyone has to have room warm until a certain date, so very hot for me. Got bitten 6 times by mosquito and asked them to spray room but I assume this didn’t happen."
