(895 reviews) This hotel is not that close to the airport. I don't know how it can be called the aoirport hotel. The front desk is not that attentive. I like hotels that has 24/7 front desk operation. This hotel's front desk closes after 10:30pm, but even when it is open it is almost non existent. The room do not have a coffee machine or a kettle to make tea. I wish I had a kettle in the room. I also did not realize that I had to turn on the knob on the heater in the room. I slept in cold the first night, as there were no front desk to call and ask why the room was cold. I was not told (when I checked in) that I am myslf responsible to turn the heat on in the room. (383 reviews) Pleasant stay at a historic hotel in Bad Nauheim. Everything was great except for one big fail by the staff: I had an early Saturday morning train to catch to get to the Frankfurt airport. When I asked at reception Friday evening to reserve me a taxi for the transfer to the BN train station, I was told I only needed to come to reception in the morning and it would take 5 minutes to have one come to the hotel. That I did. After 15 minutes of waiting and train departure time getting closer, reception called back & the taxi company said they couldn't get anyone to come. With suitcase & backpack, I had to practically sprint to make the train in time. Not very impressed by this major lack of local knowledge.
