The room was extremely clean, the manager was very friendly and helpful, we were able to leave our luggage before checking in and after checking out, and the manager went out of his way to organise an early check-in for us as we had been travelling for almost 30 hours before arriving. The location is great and within very easy walking distance of all local attractions. There was some noise from trams passing but earplugs were available at reception.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This property has so much potential. It’s affordable and in a great location. However the beds were terrible with a dip in the middle and the pillows were beyond their life. Also the doors/walls were incredibly thin and you could hear everything from inside the room. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I think there’s room for growth and I don’t know that this is somewhere I would stay again.
The hostel was so spacious! Unlike other hostels that try to fit as many beds into the room as possible, this hostel really went the extra mile to have open areas in the hostel, they even added a couch in the room!
The hostel is quite basic but it's also centrally located, comfortable, spacious and the recceptionist/proprietor offered a very warm welcome. There's free tea and coffee, fridges in your room, and it's only a short walk to the main town square. I'd recommend this for a budget stay in Bratoslava.
Good hostel, in amazing location. Just meters from the historic centre or road down to some nice bars and restaurants.
Rado on reception was amazing, really helpfull.
only down side was noise from disco near by was loud for me but i am a light sleeper.
Nice communal room to chill.
good value i was in private room.
The structure is easily accessible, very clean and the owner is friendly and seems like a good guy. A very good experience in general.

**Noisy hostel!**
This is on me as I didn’t read through the reviews properly and just saw the “exceptional” rating on hotels.com.
Pros and cons:
+ location! It’s right on the edge of the old town, and has a tram stop right outside
+ clean.
+ modern
+ coffee and (I think) tea available all the time and a comfy common space to use and sit in
+ hostel provides towels
+ friendly staff
- it’s right next to a tram line so every time a tram comes past the building the whole building shakes
- it’s above what I would presume is a club? The bass and music just continued until almost 5am. Even with ear plugs I found it very difficult to fall asleep.
- Walls are PAPER thin. I could hear my neighbours conversations almost word for word. All the noise from the corridor is heard easily.
- only 2 showers and 2 toilets for the whole place (as in 2 male and 2 female). But I imagine if the place is fully booked that’s really not enough,
- duvets were RIDICULOUSLY thin. Think height of summer, barely stay on you as they have no weight at all. Beds very creaky but comfortable enough, pillows felt like a lumpy cloud. Needed two to even elevate my head (thankfully there were 2 available as I was alone in a double room).
- felt very…. Sterile? It used to be an office building which is very clear, but the rooms are very basic, no artwork, no personal touches, nothing that gives it any soul or makes the place look nice
Overall decent. Probably wouldn’t stay again because of the noise though
Very poor condition, look cheap place, especially in toilet and shower room. Not look clean ..many things broken need to fix. Bed sheet look old and not clean. No curtain each bed every one can see each other in bed. I don't feel like Hostal feel like a private flat share bed.
Staff are friendly and helpful.

Room was clean, bathrooms were clean. I appreciated the all female room. It was also close to the Old Town
One of my favorite hostels I've stayed in. Very laid back atmosphere, fantastic wifi and common space, very clean and well kept, and really nice staff. Much quieter than some of the other hostels in Bratislava, and in an unbeatable location. Would stay here again, and highly recommend!
Hostel Folks was great! Very clean and modern hostel, it wasn’t very busy during my stay so it was nice and quiet the whole time. Large common room to hang out in. Showers had great hot water and water pressure. Towel and lockers included in stay! Definitely recommend this place. Thank u Rado for all the local recommendations!
Great host, helpful, freindly and full of local knowledge, Location excellent, short walk from all the main attractions and transportation. Very Clean and modern with all amenities needed (ear plugs Inc and can be useful on a weekend night). Felt more like a shared home rather than a hostel. Thank you.
Excellent location right next the old town with also easy access to public transports (tramways). Obchodna Ulica is a well known shops and trade street in the heart of Bratislava. The place is very comfy and reasonably priced, nothing of a luxury but you have a proper sleep plus a good hospitality. Wonderful staff at the reception. Coffees and teas available for all, all day at the lounge...have stayed there years back, enjoyed it then and enjoyed it lately. Will always go back for sure and I am in my
60s plus.
