Clean room & manager was friendly & helpful. Beds were so uncomfortable. We paid extra to have fridge & then fridge was on but not cool. Ruined our food we brought. Ok for price.

I showed you the room before you checked in. You said that everything was fine. I informed you that since I had just plugged the refrigerator in, it would take around 45 minutes to get cold. Someone turned it to zero, which in affect turns the refrigerator off. When I plug the refrigerator in, I check to make sure it is set on 4, which is the coldest setting before things start to freeze in the refrigerator section. Many of my guests are folks who come back time after time. So, I have pillow top mattresses and very firm mattresses and everything in between. I prefer and my guests generally seem to agree, that this is better than having every mattress in every room the same. If you had let me know when I showed you the room that the beds were not what you were accustomed to sleeping on. I would have, if possible, been more than happy to show you other rooms to find a better fit for you. It's always a good idea to ask, because I will do everything in my power to accommodate my guests.

Dan, the owner was very friendly and keeps the rooms and property very clean. Close to Silver Dollar City. Excellent view and not a high traffic area. We will definitely stay there again.

Dan is always friendly and helpful. I am so happy with the cleanliness of the rooms he offers. He is loyal to his customers and always gives them his best. I slept well on the bed. The TV was a nice flat screen. Free WiFi. Prices are always reasonable.The location is convenient and quite close to Silver Dollar City. This was my second time staying there and both times I was very pleased. He also offers free coffee in the mornings which is a nice perk.

never made it to motel. I called property and was told that the unit rented was a fisherman's unit...double bath and shower. This was not what I asked for. I called for a unit on/the strip. Was told all sold out, but this available in my price bracket. That is what I think I was told. It was sodifficult understanding your rep because of the strong ethic language. I had her spell so things, and then, I could not get the letters spoken. We are in our upper eigthty's and the room was on the second floor,. on the state hwy.,not anywhere near the room that I called for. I got so frustrated with your rep and booked the room. We never went down that way because it would have been very dark at night. We lost a good deal of money, and I should have contacted you immediately, but I figured you would not help. You need some good people who can speak so that your customer can understand and not think that we got what we wanted. I should have been told what kind of property I was booking. You can not expect a good review for your company from me.

Apparently you had a communication issue with an Expedia representative. You booked a weekend in which I was completely sold out, but, didn't call to speak to me until two days before your planned arrival. I explained that I have four rooms which do have a flight of stairs and that was one of the rooms you booked. You didn't tell me that you could not do stairs, only that you would prefer not to. I called several of my regular guests to see if anyone was willing to switch rooms for the weekend. One agreed, I called you back and left a message that I had a walk in room for you. You never called me back, you never cancelled your reservation, and you never showed up. So, I'm left with an empty room, which I could have used, and I'm sure someone would have appreciated.

The view and location is truly why I enjoyed this motel plus the absolute kindness and service of the owner, Dan! The property is well groomed with a beautiful stainless steel pool. The only down side is everything is pretty old inside your room but the rooms are very clean. I had a hot shower and a great night sleep. Very quiet and peaceful too! I've truly enjoyed my stay and will come again!

Thank you for the kind words. Most of the rooms have been updated extensively, the budget(1 double) rooms, while they have some updates have not been completely updated. Hopefully by next Spring.

Very Nice, Simple, Quiet place
We were looking for a simple quiet place to stay for the weekend. This was it. Yes, it's an older Motel but the owner, Dan, has done an excellent job keeping it up and clean. He even has a nice spot off to the side under the trees for us bad smoking people. The mattress was more firm than I like but that's not bad, maybe you like a firm mattress. Dan takes care of this property mostly on his own so you can usually find him doing something in case you need anything. Oh, and if you need recommendations for where to eat, defiantly ask Dan. Breakfast at Ledgestone Grille was awesome. Probably as good as the popular places but with no wait to get in. We will stay here again.

Thank you very much. I have rooms with soft mattresses(pillow top) all the way to very firm, and everything in between. Remind me, next time I will put you in a room with a soft mattress.

Classic Motel
This is as very nice motel. It is a classic "Roadside Type Motel". It is very clean and has a spotless poll. The owner takes great pride in his property, this is a true one man operation. He does everything himself to make sure it is done right.

Great place
This hotel operator is an amazing person. He cares about each guest. This is an older property, but kept in good condition. My only complaint is that one of the fitted sheets was getting old.

Excellent value for the price!
Yes, it is an older Motel. But the owner (who is also always on-site) keeps it clean and is working hard to update everything that needs it (not that it is in any form of disrepair). Dan (owner) is always available for pleasant, often very informative, conversation. He will personally brew you a cup of coffee in the morning as well! The pool is well maintained, the grounds are lovely (there is a campfire area and a picnic table and a grill..!!!) and it is located on a ridge, so the views are beautiful. The location is quiet, not a ton of traffic, and literally two stoplights from Silver Dollar City. Dan can tell you where the best restaurants are, and is a wealth of information about the area. If you don't require posh, overpriced opulence, then this is the place to go. A comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a relaxing atmosphere to unwind in after a day of taking in Branson! The price is super affordable. This is the only place I will stay when I visit the area.

The owner is so friendly, and the room was perfect for our stay. Don’t forget to bring your swim suit, relaxing in the pool is perfect after a long hot day exploring the area. My family will definitely be staying here every time we come to town!

Could be a good budget option.
Decided to take a last minute trip to Branson on a budget and the Ridgeview had a room and a good price. There is a lot to love about the place and a few things that might be deal breakers for some. The location was great for us, not on the Strip but not a long drive either, close to Silver Dollar City and Table Rock. The motel has a great view of the city and is a throwback to Branson's early days. It is an older property with some updates but still very dated or retro depending on your view. The owner was very welcoming and helpful thou some will find his protectiveness of the property a bit much, we appreciated his care for his guest. The room was clean with newer carpet, a small flatscreen, fridge and microwave. The negatives were a very small bathroom with no hooks or towel bar and some pretty hard / older beds. Also it was a bit challenging to find the motel at night as the sign was not illuminated. We'd stay again for a last minute option thou we enjoy staying at different places and locations in and around Branson.

Thank you Richard, you guys were great guests and I appreciate the review. Beds - Many of my customers come back time after time after time. Some prefer a very soft mattress, some medium, some hard, so, I attempt to have a variety. In the same vein, even though I only have 19 rooms, I have 6 room types.

Some rooms have refrigerators and microwaves others do not. On Expedia it states which room types have them, and which do not. Make certain you reserve the room you prefer. I always show the room before check in, if you thought you reserved a deluxe room, that would have been the time to mention it, and I would have been happy to upgrade you if possible.

Dan is remarkable. It's off the beaten path, on top of a ridge between Branson and the lake. Wonderful views, quiet setting. Made us coffee by hand, to the requested strength!

The owner was wonderfully friendly and a delight to talk to. The only issue I really had was that there was a hole in the bathroom which was covered up by a piece of printer paper and a Rates list on the back of the front door stating the rates of the room which were significantly lower than what I paid.

I removed the sign(lowest price($30) from 1970's era) to prevent any further confusion. It was left up, just like a few other signs on the property, for nostalgia sake.

I have stayed a lot of places in Branson but this is the first I can honestly say I will return to from now on! Hospitality of owner is unheard of these days! He was so helpful and courteous we didn’t have to worry about anything. The pool was great for my young kids and the view was beautiful. Next time we go we will hit the fire pit for s’mores! The rooms we’re very nice and it was well worth the price. We will definitely be back soon!

Just a perfect getaway for myself and my daughter
Although the hotel is a little bit older, the owner is putting a tremendous amount of effort into getting it nice. The owner and his mother we're probably the most friendly I have ever met in the industry. Wonderful people and the view is out of this world. I felt like I was at home away from home

Perfect little gem!
This was perfect for a quick getaway to Branson/Silver Dollar City. The proprietor was very nice and you can tell he cares a great deal for his property and guests. The view was stunning. The room and surroundings were clean and well maintained. We will look to book this place again when we return.

Owner was very helpfull and really wanted us to be happy. My only real issue was no wifi service available in our room. Seems some units get it, others dont. My kids were not real happy. Owner offered to let us leave but since near every other place was booked we just stayed. Place is clean, but dated. Worth the price.

Great Hotel with a View
Our stay at the Ridgeview Motel was great. Dan was so welcoming and helpful, right off the bat. Check-in was a breeze. The room was simple and just what we needed. Dan is working on updating all the rooms, but even our un-updated one was good for us. The pool was clean and provided a nice place to cool off. There were pool towels available. The view from the grounds is the best we found the entire trip - you can see all of Branson! We watched the fireworks from our deck. There was ice if we needed any. I've never felt more safe at a hotel, because Dan was there the entire time, and he took great care in keeping the place secure. After 10pm, he put out a cone in the driveway to deter wandering travelers. (We could still get in and out.) He had coffee in the morning if we wanted any. He had brochures for many area attractions and suggestions for neat place to visit or eat at. There is a place next door that sells fudge! The location is on a beautiful road, that provides the quiet we were wanting, away from the main drag of Branson. Everything went really well.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Owner is very nice and takes care of his customers and makes you feel right at home. Hotel is older, but rooms are well kept. Very convenient to Silver Dollar City. Great views of Branson and sunrise!
