  • The Willow is a bright 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on a quiet street in north Brandon. The Ross Barnett Reservoir is about 5 minutes away. Cook in a big kitchen with a double oven, gather around a dining table for 8, then unwind in the garden tub. It sleeps 6 and works well for families, work trips and longer stays. Jackson's hospitals and airport are about 20 minutes away.

    The space
    This one story home has a split floor plan. The main suite sits away from the other two bedrooms.
    Main suite: king bed and a private bath with a garden tub, a separate shower, double sinks and a private toilet room.
    Bedroom 2: queen bed under tall arched windows.
    Bedroom 3: queen bed.
    Second full bath: tub and shower.
    You will find towels, shampoo, body wash, hair dryers, an iron and a full length mirror. Beds have fresh, hotel style linens.

    Kitchen and dining
    The full kitchen has a double oven, stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, microwave and pantry. You will also find a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, knives and dishes for everyone. A breakfast table for 6 sits by French doors that open to the backyard. The formal dining room seats 8.

    Living
    The living room has a smart TV for your streaming apps. WiFi is included.

    Guest access
    The whole house is yours, along with the backyard. Use your own keypad code, so there are no keys to pick up. Check in is at 3 PM and checkout is at 11 AM. Early check in or late checkout is $50 each when the cleaning schedule allows. Please ask first. One closet stays locked for the owner's things.

    The neighborhood
    Brenhaven is a quiet neighborhood in north Brandon near the Ross Barnett Reservoir. Parking is free in the driveway. The garage is not for guest use.

    Getting around
    A car is the best way to get around. The reservoir is about 5 minutes away for sunsets, walking and biking trails, and parks along the water. Shops and restaurants on Lakeland Drive in Flowood are about 10 to 15 minutes away. UMMC and downtown Jackson are about 20 minutes away, and the nearest ER is about 15 minutes away in Flowood. Jackson's airport (JAN) is about 20 minutes away.

    Other things to note
    Pets are welcome. Bring up to 2 pets. There is a $100 pet fee per stay. Please tell us before you arrive.
    No parties or events. No smoking inside. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM.
    Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed.
    A Ring doorbell camera at the front door sees the porch, walkway and driveway. There are no cameras inside the home.
    Bigger group? The Southern Standard sits right next door and also sleeps 6. Book both homes for up to 12 guests, with two kitchens and room for everyone to spread out.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place used dishes in the dishwasher. You do not need to start it. Empty the fridge and counters, and wipe up spills. Set the thermostat to 72°F.
Bag trash from every room and take it to the outdoor bin in the driveway. Brought a pet? Pick up all poop, in the yard and inside. Put furniture back where you found it.
Sign out of your streaming apps on the TV. Close all windows, and lock the French doors to the backyard and the front door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
