The detached mountain cabin is furnished in the typical regional style. The property is popular also because of the view from the grounds into the valley and its sunny hillside location on the edge of the forest. Available for exclusive use are: sunbathing lawn, sun lounger, children's playground, swing, barbecue facilities, terrace, garden furniture and campfire area.


Your holiday house
Your mountain cottage consists of 2 floors, 7 rooms (from which 5 bedrooms), is 200 sqm and can accommodate up to 15 persons. Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms. On colder days your mountain cottage can be heated with electric heating. There is an infrared heater in every bedroom and in the lounge plus 3 wood stoves, so there is a constant, pleasant warmth.

Hot water is available via an electric boiler. There is plenty of wood for heating. The entrance leads directly in the vestibule with wardrobe. The rooms are divided as follows:
Ground floor: Common room with lounge. Eat-in kitchen with fireplace, lounge and TV. You have access to the terrace with garden furniture. Bedroom as intersecting room and with 1 double bed. Bedroom with 1 double bed and 3 additional beds at couch/sofa and a fold-out mattress. Cooking nook in the eat-in kitchen with dinette, TV, dishwasher, electric cooker (4 plates), oven, refrigerator (freezer), coffee machine, toaster, electric water boiler and dryer. Ski room with for parking in the woodshed. Separate toilet with WC and window.
1st floor: 2 bedrooms each with 3 single beds. Bedroom as intersecting room and with 3 single beds and with sink and a sink in the hallway which is delimited with a wall and a curtain. Bathroom with with shower, shower, window and 2 shower cubicles. Separate toilet with WC and window.
In addition, your mountain cottage is equipped with WLAN- internet access, baby bed, high chair for children, washing machine and dryer. TV or radio channel can be received per satellite.


Location
Mühlbach im Pinzgau. The mountain hut is located on a 20,000 sqm open woodland plot with meadow, shrubs and trees. The landlord does not live in the house or on the property. Our rustic alpine hut Katharina is a rustic and romantic hut from the 19th century that has preserved its charm of past centuries.

However, the hut has been adapted and modernised to meet today’s comfort standards. Thus, there is an infrared heater in every room and hot water is provided by an electric boiler. In the hut there are two showers behind a curtain in the corridor and there are also two separate WCs in the house. To make the hut nice and warm there are two large wood-burning stoves and plenty of firewood is also available.

. Access is via a mountain road (unpaved, length 500 m). In winter, snow chains are mandatory. Parking on the property. Access by car is no problem in summer right up to the house; in winter the road to the house is also cleared, but you will still need snow chains and four-wheel drive to drive up to the house. Otherwise, there are parking facilities up to approx. 250 metres before the house.


Special
Electric heating. There is an infrared heater in each bedroom and in the living area plus 3 wood-burning stoves, thus ensuring continuous pleasant warmth.

Hot water is provided by an electric boiler. Ample firewood is available. Cot, high chair, internet access (WLAN), washing machine and tumble dryer. TV reception is via satellite.

In winter, sledding at the house with free toboggans.

Shopping 2 km, restaurant 1500 m, town centre 2 km. Indoor pool, sauna each 13 km at Kristallbad Wald Königsleiten. Railway station in Mühlbach 2 km. In summer: Hollersbach bathing lake 2.5 km in Hollersbach (beach with meadow, sand and stones). Below the property is the Salzbach river; along it a beautiful kilometre-long cycle path takes you on a discovery tour. Hollersbach 9 km with adventure playground, outdoor pool. Rafting or canyoning on the Wildkogel. In winter: Ski lift 2.5 km in Bramberg am Wildkogel. Ski area 2.5 km in Bramberg am Wildkogel (Kitzbüheler Alpen panoramic cable car). Ski bus 500 m. Ski hire, ski school each 2.5 km in Bramberg am Wildkogel. Toboggan run in Neukirchen 7 km. Bramberg am Wildkogel and Neukirchen am Grossvenediger are part of the Wildkogel Arena ski area, which stretches between the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Kitzbüheler Alps. Panoramic cable car 2 km to the Kitzbüheler Alps.
