"Won’t stay again. Shower not working properly, heater turned itself up but didn’t get warmer. Water was awful, beds were so hard. No mariner view just a car park & not overly busy so could have given us a view.
It wasn’t very cheap either."
"We were very excited for our stay at this hotel as we had seen the pictures online and booked a sea view balcony room based on this. We open our balcony doors to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and the ‘paid for sea view’ which was a very large tree that blocked the whole view of the sea. After 20 minutes we had to close the door and sit inside our room due to people on the public benches below our room smoking not only tobacco but also cannabis with the smoke coming directly into the room. We then discovered a large cockroach running across the top of the TV. I thought it had gone into my open suitcase and had to empty it to find the cockroach which I then killed and disposed of. I phoned the after hours management number to complain. They didn’t change our room but met us the next morning on check out. After explaining our situation, they told us we could complain to the local council about the tree (that’s not our job as customers) and gave us £10 off in lieu of the lack of sea view. The cockroach was for free…..! Highly disappointed and will never stay again or recommend."
"An excellent little tiny home on a farm. From the house you cannot see any other people or buildings, but you can hear the noise from the highway (which wasn't bad, just unexpected).
The owner was lovely and very responsive, the tiny home was warm and minimalist, and the property was very peaceful.
My only suggestion is that they do a good clean as although it was tidy, the crockery and utensils were greasy, and the frypan and saucepan had remnants so had to be washed before use.
Just a note that there is only one hotplate on the induction cooktop, something I didn't consider in my plan to cook two things at once."
"Lovely quiet place to stop for a few days. Gorgeous lake, birds and gardens. Room comfy and great facilities to relax and read a good book. Recommended for a much needed break."
"Accomodation was in a beautiful setting, close to town and the beach. It appeared visually clean but had a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom- we would have liked to try mopping to see if itvwould help but their weren't cleaning supplies. Their was limited information about the kitchen on the site- it contains an oven, dishwasher, stove top and coffee pod machine. There is no microwave. Their wasn't a plug for the sink, a draining rack or dishwashing pods for the dishwasher so cleaning dishes was challenging. "
