Tortuga Beach Resort is our favorite place to stay. The location is perfect, right across the street from a white sandy beach and near many restaurants. There are two lovely pools to enjoy and lots of beach stuff is provided. Our condo had two large bedrooms and two full baths, a huge kitchen, a laundry room, and a screened lanai. Everything worked perfectly, as we knew it would, and we will definitely be back. There is an elevator for those who have difficulty with stairs. ##### Ann C. We never felt like we were on top of each other. It was actually way bigger in person than the photos made it seems. The showers are huge and have dual shower heads in both bathrooms. That was such a great surprise. The actual property was super close to the lap pool which was nice and warm and my kids loved it for evening swims when they had enough sun. The other pool was close and a great facility. The parking garage made it easy to come on and off the property. The place has shared beach and pool toys but there’s also a closet with toys you can use during your stay. Plenty of towels and those could be taken to the beach as well. The beach location is perfect. We could walk there easily. We also could walk to several restaurants and gift shops. I would recommend bringing a sleeping mask for the main bedroom because the outdoor lights from below were very bright. We had the best time and would absolutely stay here again. ##### Jennifer B. This was our first time renting this unit. It was perfect for our family of 4\. The unit is well taken care of and beautifully decorated. Very spacious. The beach was steps away! We never used the pools. 1\. It was a little hard to figure out where the unit was located. I recommend sending a property map when someone rents it. That was it’s easier to figure out where to park. 2\. It took a us a minute to figure out how to work the front door lock. The instructions sent are not accurate. I called the number given and never got a call back. 3\. The WiFi was horrible. We were unable to even make the simplest calls. 4\. The unit needs blackout curtains. It is very bright and has lots of windows but only blinds. Makes it very hard to sleep in which is a vacation must! ##### Milagros C. Two bedrooms and two baths are ideal and it's nice to have at least a peek of the gulf from the lanai. Providing an umbrella and beach/pool toys is useful. This particular time I am unhappy because a top that I mistakenly left in a drawer has not been returned, even though I called several times and understand that I need to pay postage. ##### Ann C. Our place was clean, larger than it appeared in the pictures, and was quiet and comfortable. The enclosed patio was a nice place to enjoy breakfast or to have a glass of wine on the evening. Bridge Street was just a short stroll away. It offered easy access to the gulf beach and the Bay for spectacular sunrises. We’ll gladly consider this place for future visits. ##### Robert Y. The listing led us to believe that we were on the beach. Instead, we were across the street in a condo complex with no view of the beach.
