About this property
Escape to paradise. A 30 minute scenic drive from downtown Bozeman.
Lovely pet-friendly log guest home on 60 acres. Relax on the deck while watching wildlife or listening to the aspens and the creek. Our three bedroom, two bath home features a master suite with queen bed and private bathroom with a double cedar shower. The second large queen bedroom has an expansive library and leather easy chair for private reading, the third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a full-sized futon. The shared bathroom has a large tub and shower. All three bedrooms have blackout curtains for restful sleeping or nap time. The fully equipped kitchen has new gas range, microwave, dishwasher and ample pantry in addition to laundry facilities. There is a large gas BBQ on a rear deck. The property is located on a dead-end road in the Battle Ridge area of the Bridger Mountains. It is located six miles from Bridger Bowl ski area known for its "cold smoke" powder skiing, and the Cross-Cut Ranch Nordic Center. All wheel or 4wheel drive is recommended for winter guests. Since most of the ski traffic comes from Bozeman, our guests will have an easy commute to and from Bridger Bowl. A picnic area along the creek is available for the enjoyment of our guests. It features a gas BBQ and seating along the creek, as well as two large picnic tables. It is a lovely place to unwind after a day of sight-seeing or hiking. The area has an abundance of wildlife including deer, elk, moose, bear, wild turkeys, coyotes and foxes, and the occasional cougar or wolf.. Guests have reported seeing wolverine when hiking in the Bridger Mountains near Fairy Lake, a short distance from the "cabin".

We had a great time staying here over the Thanksgiving holiday! The cabin is homey and very comfortable. The property is beautiful! Lots of good hiking! Recommend!
Property was great, especially for being away at Xmas time! Owners were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for a Xmas tree! Very close to Bridger for skiing and some great trails for walking pets or touring on.
We had a quiet stay that was very relaxing after a few days of skiing. The cabin was cozy and just right for our group of 8. Enjoyed sledding and beautiful walks outdoors in God's wonderful creation! Will stay again.
Sally is a wonderful host, she gave my family a heads up on the road conditions which allowed us to make an informed decision on what vehicle to bring. Great location the sunrises are wonderful to view from the living room. Great place for skiers Bridger Bowl is just down the street. Overall a wonderful experience Thankyou.
We loved the location and how peaceful it was in the mountains. The cabin far exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it to anyone going to Montana.
The location was perfect for our trip. We were close to Bridger bowl for an event. Enjoyed watching the Elk in the field in front of this home. The home offered everything we needed for our getaway.
What an amazing location to stay. Our hosts were super responsive and available. Internet was available since there is no cell signal which is a blessing in itself. We will be back again.
Our group of 2 small families had so much fun walking the roads and property, marveling at the views, and connecting over games and meals. Sally was super helpful and responsive, and the home had everything we needed and more.
The cabin is so homey and comfortable! It is secluded yet Yellowstone is still doable as a day trip.
The owners have equipped the cabin with everything you need. We all loved staying there
My husband and I took a cross country road trip to visit our son in Bozeman. I found the Taylor's cabin through VRBO and it was just what we were looking for. We enjoyed our peaceful evenings in a cozy comfy cabin where not a hint of civilization could be heard. Sally and Paul were very helpful with anything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
Our family had an amazing stay at a Creek Runs Through It! So peaceful! 150+ mule/white tail deer, 2 black bear, 5 elk, and a moose. Awesome waking trails near by. Sat for hours on the front porch just taking in the quiet. Highly recommend!
Great location to the Hardscrabble Ranch which where the wedding was located at less than a 10 minute ride. It was a little warm during the heat of the day but Montana was experiencing a higher the normal heat wave, but had window fans to place in the windows to cool it off . Overall we had a great stay thank
We loved our time at this awesome retreat. Nestled between the Bridger Range and the Crazy Mountains, you won’t find a more beautiful place. The solitude and beauty are far beyond the pictures, yet it’s just a short drive to Bozeman. You’ll look forward to the drive!
The hosts Sally and Paul were wonderful. We especially enjoyed walking with our dogs throughout the hundred acres along the creek side. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place!
This log cabin home is set in the beautiful Montana countryside. It is peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to relax. There were deer, cranes, alpacas and horses to watch daily. The house had comfy beds, cozy family room and a kitchen with complete amenities. Sally was a fantastic host and was available to answer any questions. We had easy access to trails, fishing and DT Bozeman. Be sure to check out the Hot Springs in Bozeman.
This is a nice little log house in the mountains. The hosts are very nice and the property is taken care of. This is an older home with a few updates. Its very clean but not updated. Its what we expected from the pictures so there where no surprises. I would caution you though, if a good storm would have rolled in a dumped serious snow, getting up the gravel road to the house and the main driveway to the house could be a challenge with only front wheel drive. We had a few inches and it was manageable. I know the hosts would do all they could to get you up the driveway.
I love the quiet location... and proximity to Bridger Ski area. 10 minutes!!!
Very clean & cozy, pet-friendly, nice beautiful property that was used for fun (sledding). The host was very receptive to our needs. The cabin felt like home. There were plenty of blankets, sheets, and towels. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans, plates, utensils, serving dishes and appliances. It was perfect!
