Last minute booking due to another hotel being overbooked. Upon arrival toilet not flushing (purchased plunger), bugs in room, 1am in morning woke up to floor being flooded with water and saw the water running out of pipe with water wet on ceiling even above me in area. I walked to the office and was closed. I called Emergency number on sign and it just rang till clicked off over and over. Tried calling hotel number and also no answer. I had to throw out items damaged on floor and ended up staying in my car wide awake till morning. Morning grabbed my belongings that had put up high on desk and scrubbed my feet in pool till could get to a gas station to scrub my feet not knowing what was in the water all through the room. Went in office and told front desk agent what had happened and would like to be refunded for stay at least since had damaged property, room flooded, and no answer on emergency number. It left me with no choice, but to stay in my car wide awake till morning. I was told would tell management to call me and never did.

- - - - - - - - < In a nut shell > Visual Appearance - 5 It's an old place ok however that's not it's rising point. Cleanliness - 8 Fairly clean but this is a mixed bag as seen on reviews so don't judge right off the bat. Room Prep Condition - 10 Had everything I needed. Residents - A mixed bag & experiences may change per person/visit. Bugs - Yes and its florida so meh Microwave - Yes Refrigerator - Yes Sink - Yes Bathroom - Yes TV - Yes but I don't know how to work the tvs they have here Wifi Internet - Yes but I never used it Wall ports - Yes however there's a few per room and most within bed range are in use. - - - - - - - - < What I have to say > I've stayed at this hotel a few times so far & It's clean however it's old as well. You have to keep in mind these rooms are like a mixed bag but I can't argue seeing the prices are uttlerly low compared to others. The check in was easy and quick plus there's no extra fees; yep you just get the key once you did your online booking from the office after you showed your ID of course then you can be on your way. On that note "Office" , you can buy a few things from there such as food and laundry supples.

I usually travel 10-20 days per year, and have done so for over 20 years. I've found Homing Inn to be one of the worse places I've ever stayed at. It was neither clean nor safe. The smoke detector was missing from the plate on the wall in the sleeping quarters. I found a detector lying on the counter in the kitchen closet area. Several of the wall plates were missing from the electrical wall outlets. The apartment door showed signs of a forced entry, as it would not would lock securely. When locked, it would move in and out almost an inch even with the secondary lock activated. There was about a 1/2 inch gap along the entire height of the door. There was a 3rd flimsy slide bolt which could only be locked with difficulty. The bath tub/shower had no shower curtain. There was an inventory list of towels posted on the bathroom door(although there were some already missing). Toilet paper placed on top toilet and bathtub edge (TP holder missing spindle).I had to kill several roaches on the sink counter. (Fortunately it was in the morning just before check-out) Trash and broken furniture stored on the property.

I Did Not Stay here the place was a filthy mess after just being "cleaned". This must be a SCAM or something because the front desk said he could not refund my $128 dollar's I would have to fight that thru Hotel's.com . My 1 night down was to see my dying Aunt and this experience was horrendous!
Nothing says Welcome like an about to fall down ceiling light fixture.
Here's your TV make sure you don't touch it because you will be charged for a broken TV falling from is Perch.
Hair in sink, clumps in tub and floor!
This room had not been "just Cleaned" it has NEVER been Cleaned nor repairs made! Will report this place to Health Department and any other agencies!!

2nd time we stayed here, This time it was horrible. Top of the fridge was either dirty or rusty, holes in the bathroom wall where fixtures used to be, cigarette burns all over the bathtub and bedspread, all the fixtures were painted over and hanging off the wall. I know it's a small thing but the soap dish next to the sink, i don't think has ever been cleaned and falling off the wall

The room smelled bad. Dead roaches on the floor, a soiled towel left hanging in a shabby closet; however, none other towels in sight, clean or otherwise. The small table rocked back and forth. The bathtub was covered in mold. I cannot believe such unsanitary place is allowed to remain in business. I quickly left the room and retuned the key to the clerk, who did not even inquire why I left. So sadly I wasted over $100. This place should be shut down by the health department.

Paid for 2 nights, the second night couldn’t get into the room and had to sleep in my car! The “front desk” didn’t answer the phone all night it was very frustrating after working all day and assuming you would be able to get into the room you already paid for! Immediately left the next day and went somewhere else. It was not worth the money at all.

This place is not a hotel or motel it is one step below a crack house. We had booked for adjoining room but what we got were two separate rooms. These are not hotel rooms but old one bedroom apartments held over from the 60s. Cigarette butts and blunts used to smoke weed all over the walkways. The rooms smelled of weed and cigarette smoke everywhere. The smoke detectors were broken off the walls and missing. There was no hot water from the bathroom sink and the sink plumbing was busted and leaked if used. There was a small kitchen with an oversized refrigerator that did not cool off anything put into it. The microwave did not work! the plugs for the kitchen sinks were hard to get out and I expect that is where the cockroaches came from when we heard loud noises coming from outside our room. I got up and turned on the lights and cockroaches were everywhere. The A/C in bedroom was on constantly as it would not cool down the room and this was not even hot weather in Feb. We stayed with friends and slept on couches at their place. rather than do the full three night stay. The room we had for a lady and a 6 month old baby we made other arrangements for them as she did not feel safe for her baby. The reason for the trip was a family emergency support. Expedia should not list unsafe and not for purpose rooms on their site. Please read the other reviews on this location the one that are bad are not wrong! I took pictures of this room as well.

The worst place i have ever stayed the room was deplorable the linen was not fresh the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. 1. Cockroaches 2. Dirty linen 3. They tried to paint over some flaws but left the pictures on the wall while painting (laughable) 4. The bathroom was ridiculously disgusting the seat was dirty the ceiling was half painted and hanging down in some sections..... 5. The potential was there but the reality of this hotel was below expectation

We booked the room for 2 nights. Management messed up and thought we were supposed to check out the next day. They went in the room and threw our belongings in our suit cases and left them by the front door. Then they called us and told us to come get our things at which time I told them we had paid for 2 nights. The manager was quite rude and said he would look into it and get back to us which he never did. When I called back to see if he figured it out he said yes we booked 2 nights without apologizing. As for the room when we got there it was 80 degrees and the AC was off. It took hours to cool the room down. And the bathroom was infested with roaches.

The property was old and dirty. From the second you got to the outside door of the room I knew it was a mistake. It was old & delapidated. When you opened the door it was way worse. The room had a bunch of old light fixtures that didn’t work, the bed was disgusting with an old bedspread from the 70’s that had cigarette burns all over it, the curtains were old & musty from the 70’s, the refrigerator was old and rusted, bathroom was gross-shower bar broken off, vanity had multiple types of light bulbs, the cabinet drawers were all broken and hanging off, there was a spider on the wall. I felt like I was in a horrible movie. We booked the room for the night because it was inexpensive & close to a fancy event on the beach and we didn’t want to drive home. This place needs to be Bull dozed and re-renovated. Do not go there. It was disgusting. It was definitely an experience I’ll never forget.
