You have views of the lake and can experience romantic sunsets either on the bridge, from the protected glassed-in porch or from the cozy living room of the house. You have view on pleasure boats passing by and the steamboat Boxholm 2 passing two times a day. The house is comfortable inreddad. Bedroom 1 with double bed and sofa bed in the main building. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located in the guest house and each is fitted with a bunk bed. Both have a sink with cold running water. The private jetty, offering a seat place is only 20 meters away from the house. Here you can swim or fish. Canoe and rowboat are here on the beach at your disposal. Discover by boat or canoe, insular world of the Somme and spend equipped with a picnic basket all day there. There are about 365 large and SMÅA islands here in the Somme. The lake Sommen is a dream and great for swimming/fishing/etc. No much room for improvements. Maybe a new shower curtain. Eigentlich ist es sogar noch schöner und gemütlicher, als es mit den Bildern wiedergegeben werden kann. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, so dass man sich direkt zuhause fühlt. Traumhaft sind die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten, so dass man je nach Vorliebe immer einen sonnigen oder schattigen Platz findet. Dies haben alle aus der Familie ausgiebig genutzt. Wer die Ruhe am schönen Sommen mag, findet hier ein wunderschönes Plätzchen. Für unsere jugendlichen Söhne war das separate Gästehaus perfekt. Jeder hatte seinen eigenen Eingang und sein abgeschlossenes kleines Reich für sich. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in knapp 20km Entfernung reichlich vorhanden. Nicht zu vergessen sind die freundlichen Gastgeber, die uns am Haus empfangen und alles vorgestellt haben. Dass sie nur wenig Englisch sprechen, hat uns nicht davon abgehalten, alle notwendigen Informationen mit vielen Gesten auszutauschen. Die Lage am See war einzigartig. Mit dem Paddelboot haben wir die kleinen Inseln auf dem Sommen erkundet. Angeln kann man auch super. Die Ausstattung war super. Nette Eigentümer. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten wie die Stadt Motala und Eksjö sind 50 km entfernt, Vimmerby 80km. Gefehlt hat uns im Ferienhaus ein Handbuch über Wissenswertes rund ums Haus und auch Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben dieses Haus für 2 Wochen gebucht. Mit sehr großen Erwartungen sind wir dorthin gefahren. Leider wurde unser Urlaub zum einem Alptraum. Neben diesem Haus keine 20 Meter entfernt wird ein neues gebaut, dort wurde von 7 - 19 Uhr sogar Sonntags gearbeitet. Auch an der gegenüberliegenden Seeseite wurde ein Haus abgerissen und wird ebenfalls neu gebaut. Wir finden es unverschämt das wir bei der Buchung nicht darüber informiert wurden dass mit Baulärm zu rechnen ist. Schließlich bezahlt man eine Menge Geld dafür. Von unserem Bootsvermieter wurden wir aufgeklärt was Nybygget eigentlich bedeutet nämlich Neubaugebiet. Wir sind dann 3 Tage früher abgereist da der Lärm für uns unerträglich wurde. Das Haus selber war ok. Wir wollten einen ruhigen erholsamen Urlaub dort verbringen war leider unmöglich. ##### Martina A. Am Haus und seiner Ausstattung gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Der Baulärm vom Nachbargrundstück hielt sich in Grenzen. Da hatten wir aufgrund früherer Bewertungen unsere Befürchtungen. Mit den Booten konnten wir den See erkunden. Ein Motorboot wäre für Angler allerdings dringend zu empfehlen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten finden sich in der Nähe in Boxholm. Zum Baden sind wir nach Malexander gefahren, nicht gleich um die Ecke, aber der Weg lohnt sich. Empfehlen würden wir zudem Linköping, da lässt sich gut shoppen und ein Besuch des Luftwaffenmuseums lohnt sich ebenfalls sehr. Wer nur Landschaft und Ruhe genießen möchte, der findet beides am Sommen-See garantiert. Wir können diesen Platz in jedem Fall empfehlen. ##### Thomas S. Dog kunne vi godt have undværet håndværkerne på nabogrunden (hvor de byggede nyt hus) fra 7.30 til 16 hver dag. Derudover var der ikke helt enighed om hvorvidt der skulle betales for linned og håndklæder trods det var skrevet inklusiv på hjemmesiden, da vi bookede (det er siden rettet). Den Platz im Wintergarten haben wir geliebt. Die Ausstattung im Haus war zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit. Sehr gute Betten. Sanitäre Einrichtung ebenfalls bestens. Viele verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten rund ums Haus, sodass man den ganzen Tag über sich je nach Gusto einen Sonnen- oder Schattenplatz aussuchen konnte. Die Badestelle direkt am eigenen Steg war leider mit einer Wasserpflanze (Wasserpest) zugewachsen was beim Schwimmen etwas lästig war. Einziges Manko war eine Baustelle direkt neben dem Ferienhaus an der während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes (3 Wochen) gearbeitet wurde, sodass die Ruhe, die wir in unseren vielen Schwedenurlauben so genossen haben doch erheblich gestört war. Schade das wir vorab nicht informiert wurden. Haus und Grundstück sind wunderschön, Betten und Einrichtung sind sehr gut , Super Blick vom Wintergarten , haben viele Hechte geangelt und Blaubeermarmelade gemacht , einge Inseln besucht auf dem See und sind dort baden gegangen , ein Lagerfeuer gemacht und Schwedische Würste gegrillt , Paddelboot gefahren. Wir haben im Juli einen fantastischen Urlaub am Sommen verbracht mit unseren drei Kindern. Sehr zum wohlfühlen eingerichtetes Haus mit allem was man benötigt. Spiele für drin und draußen waren genug vorhanden und haben uns lustig die Abende vertreiben lassen. Immer wieder gern und nicht einen Meter der Anfahrt bereut von Mitte Deutschland. Das Extra - Gästehaus war für unsere Kinder ideal. Wir haben die zwei Boote gerne und intensiv genutzt. Nach kurzer Zeit hatte jeder seinen Lieblingsplatz an einem der neun (!) Sitzplätze rund ums Haus gefunden. Der Wintergarten lud zum Spielen und Lesen am Abend ein, und die beiden Liegesessel im Wohnzimmer waren zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit heiß begehrt, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit dort verbracht! ##### Bernhard F. Wir haben die Pfingstferien in diesem tollen Haus verbracht. Es war die pure Erholung inkl. Tiefenentspannung. Gerne kommen wir nochmals.
