The front office lady was quite short with us and very unfriendly. Not sure what lenses they used when taking the advertising photos but whoever did it is a genius. Transformed a pokey, tired donga into a spacious modern looking unit in a few photos!! Seriously the place was tiny and old. The A/C unit was a wheezing wall mounted thing that we had to run at it’s hardest to cool the room, the toilet was broken, the bed harder than the floor and the front door didn’t lock. When we asked for assistance the woman begrudgingly came and showed us the special “wiggle techniques” to get the lock to work. The TV was smaller than my home computer monitor and the whole place was filthy - after 15 minutes inside I had to was my feet as the soles were black and there was grit and sand everywhere. In these days of Covid it was simply unacceptable, as was the tatty and slightly mouldy shower curtain!! Just Yuk.
