We have four bedrooms - one with an ensuite - a large dining room / entertaining area perfect for enjoying a home cooked meal or perhaps a competitive game of Uno. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and the cosiest living room with a large smart TV connected to standard cable and many streaming services. High speed 100mbps internet makes working from "home" a breeze. Our renovated, light oak wood flooring and high ceilings home is the perfect home away from home. Located in one of Victoria's most famous Country towns. We are very well located and are in close proximity to most of Bendigo center. A small 10 minute walk will get you to the Bendigo Marketplace and a 20 minute walk will get you into the heart of the city. Alternatively we have plenty of private parking and you'll be in the city center in just 4 minutes by car. We are also a 3 minute drive to/from the local Bendigo train station, or a 10 minute walk. Bedroom 01 The primary bedroom features a queen bed, built-in robes, a 42” Smart TV, a split system for heating and cooling as well as a complete ensuite. Bedroom 02 The second bedroom features a double bed, clothes hanger, 42” Smart TV and a portable heater and fan. Bedroom 03 The third bedroom features a queen bed, clothes hanger and a record display. Bedroom 04 The fourth room is primarily intended for those with kids or larger families. It features a queen bed and a king single bunk, which is larger than a standard single and suitable for adults. We value our guests health and safety and to ensure this the house is professionally cleaned after each booking. —— Pay for what you will use; About our pricing structure. We charge a base rate for two people per bedroom. This approach allows us to offer more affordable accommodations to solo travelers or couples who only require one bedroom but still desire the experience of renting an entire house. The use of each additional bedroom incurs an extra $60 fee to cover additional costs for cleaning, utilities, supplies etc. Our pricing structure ensures that guests only pay for the amenities they require and desire. Access will only be provided to rooms that are booked. If our cleaners find that unpaid beds were used, an extra cleaning fee will be incurred. Its location meant it was a short drive in to the city centre, to tourist attractions or a 2 minute walk to the Queen’s Arms Hotel for dinner and a drink. Lots of comfortable beds. Entertainment was really good. Living room tv connected to everything. Super simple access through electronic lock. We left as soon as possible. Not a pleasant location. Situated on a busy roundabout. The front garden looked neglected, with broken front gates that couldn’t be closed and missing fence pickets. There were plants growing out of the porch and the outdoor furniture was poor. It felt very unwelcoming with no little touches, especially considering it was Christmas. The backyard was unusable, with knee high grass. There were fire pit coals poured onto a gravel portion of the yard and the concrete was littered with old dog leads and broken toys, which I had to clean up. It was not dog friendly. The property had not been maintained well. There was an overwhelming smell of rising damp and it could do with a thorough clean. The kitchen bench and cupboards were sticky. The range hood and oven had not been cleaned for months, covered with caked on grease and residue. The pantry items consisted of an old bag of sugar and some wasabi satchels. We could not eat here. The overall furniture and styling was poor. It looked as though no effort or thought was given to creating a stylish holiday home that you would want to experience. The bedding was not inviting, with mismatched linen that looked as though it had been just thrown together quickly. The bed was not comfortable. We could not wait to leave. This property is not fit for purpose. We left early after obtaining other accommodation in Bendigo, which was a direct contrast to this property. Worst home I've ever been in. ##### Catherine B. We stayed with our two dogs and were very comfortable. It is a short walk to down (half an hr walk). It was not very clean when we got there, the fridge needed cleaning (milk residue in door compartments, food smears throughout shelves and freezer), 1 bed had dog hair in it, other 2 beds smelled of sweat and perfume. Cobwebs in most corners and thick dust in most places. Dog poop in garden. Owner offered a cleaner the next day, but we had already spent hours cleaning. The house is on a roundabout intersecting 2 main roads that have heavy trucks using it from early in the morning. Two bedrooms at front of house, 1 at back. Beds are comfy. Netflix available.
