"The house is lovely with big rooms and the most stunning view. Plunge pool very welcome - with temperatures above average for the season. The lack of upstairs loo would be the only minor criticism. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and with excellent entertainment from the wildlife. It is a drive to anywhere from here for shopping/restaurants etc but just beautiful. The views are fabulous, the pool warm enough to swim in all weathers, the gite is very well-equipped and the wood burner was most welcome on the cooler days. "The outside of the property is lovely. The pool is fabulous with a good seating area, however, we did have to clean the pool ourselves which we've never had to do at any other property we have rented. The interior of the house is very old and could do with having a thorough clean. There were a lot of cobwebs and some of the kitchen utensils weren't very clean. There was also a smell of soot in the lounge which exacerbated my daughters asthma so we chose not to use that room. Part of the house...

"You cannot go wrong if you choose this place. Marie-Ange was so gracious and made us feel so welcomed. She prepared a lovely aperitif of salmon bread melon and Sangria. The place is clean well furnished and the neighborhood is very safe and walkable. Her garden is beautiful, and sitting on the terrace is very enjoyable. Many cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Same for a full grocery store about 8 minutes walk. You will have a friend for life."
