Not too far from town- Boulder Junction is a very cute/nice town. The cabin itself was clean and the screened in patio was definitely a nice addition. The only drawback was the overall size of the unit. It was advertised as a park model however it was smaller than we had expected. The unit was very clean and the host made the check in process very doable. The location was on the bike trail and since the reason for our vacation was to explore the bike trails of Vilas county this met our needs very well. The cottage was well prepared for a long or short stay. While an older decor, the cottage has been well maintained and offered some nostalgic forms of media (cassette deck, cassette tapes and dvd player). The days and nights were almost completely silent with plenty of privacy. The screen porch was very nice for dining without bugs buzzing around your plate.
