"What made this place so terrific was not the facilities, but Roberto and Claudia, the owners. They went out if their way to show us the wine production and surrounding area. They went above and beyond to help us with their pharmacy and anything else we needed. They made it our home. Scandiano is a delightful community. "Lovely hotel with a great swimming pool. It was our second time there and the staff were still as friendly and helpful as we remembered. Manuel was great and really helped us as we were checking out and searching for a restaurant for lunch. The only downside was the dinner at the hotel - in a region where the food is exceptional the food fell short. We didnt have breakfast but the buffet did look good. Would be nice to go back for a third visit!"

"Staff were super friendly and helpful. They had kindly upgraded my room for free but meant it didn’t have the sofa bed that I needed for my son but they quickly sorted it out and moved us. Hotel is a good location for walking to the city centre and train station. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the level of the breakfast. For the price (I didn’t get it included in my room rate) the selection was good but I struggled to equate it to the cost. Otherwise the hotel was good."
