"Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort provided one of the highlights of my Sarawak stay. Breakfast and dinner were both included in my price, and both were incredibly tasty. " Our stay was for 4 nights & overall our stay was good. Night 1 & 2 the centrally controlled balcony light was turned off by 10pm. Night 3 it wasn’t turned off until 3am. Night 4, I called reception at midnight & asked for the light to be turned off. Was told ‘Yes’. Never happened, it went off at 3am. The volume was showing maximum however you could barely hear it, especially with the live music from the BSB stage next to the hotel. "I choose Astara because of the location. The hotel is located at Balikpapan Super Block (BSB) where you can find various restaurants, malls, mini markets, hypermarkets, etc. The hotel room is small compared to the same rate hotel in the BSB area but the types of furniture are quite modern. Room service needs more to pay attention to clean around the bed area where in some cases I found dust and small spider web residual on it."
