The location: magical, with a beautiful view over the Swedish countryside. The welcome: excellent from start to finish, and perfectly flexible with the use of the spa, even though I arrived a little late. Dinner by the young chef, only 22 years old: absolutely fabulous – simple yet highly refined, with fresh local products! And the cherry on top: the owner, Thomas, kindly gave me a lift to Motala station after breakfast so I could catch my 9:34 train (I had overestimated the frequency of buses in the countryside!!). För vår del handlade vistelsen inte om spa eller behandlingar. Vi var på genomresa och ville bo på något annat ställe än de vanliga hotellen. Vi upplevde Högbo som personligt, genomtänkt och gästvänligt med ägarnas och personalens engagemang.
