Just a stone's throw from Place de la Victoire, Rue Sainte-Catherine, shops and restaurants, this apartment offers you every comfort for an exceptional stay in Bordeaux. Fully renovated and equipped, it can comfortably accommodate 2 travelers. Bed linen and towels of 4\* hotel quality are provided, as well as bath mats and tea towels. The apartment is composed as follows \- A living room with sofa and flat-screen TV \- A fully-equipped open-plan kitchen: fridge, hob, microwave and oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and plenty of cooking utensils. \- Upstairs bedroom with double bed (140x190) \- Open-plan bathroom with Italian-style shower and separate toilet The St-Michel district is organized around Place Canteloup and Place des Capucins, both devoted to commercial activities. Cosmopolitan, the area is home to architects, start-ups and artists attracted by its vibrant cultural life. If you like the lively atmosphere of a market, don't miss the Marché des Capucins, Bordeaux's largest covered market, where you can shop or enjoy a platter of oysters from the Bay of Arcachon, a plate of Spanish tapas, charcuterie or cheese, accompanied by a Bordeaux or Entre-deux-mers wine. There are loads of food restaurants nearby and everything feels like a short walk away. If I were to point out anything that could be improved I would say that the spiral staircase isn't extremely stable so you have to be a bit careful going up and down those steps. Also, the bed isn't overly comfortable, after a week we were looking forward to getting back to our own bed.
