Check in was fast & friendly. I like that the parking attendant showed us where to park & saved our spots when we ran errands in the car. The lounge was so friendly! Really good coffee in the foyer in the morning. We had a balcony room on the harbor. Shower was hot & good pressure. This is a classic New England motel style hotel. It could use some modernization but then again, maybe not ! ☺️

Highly recommend
The front-desk staff folks were all absolutely fabulous - very helpful and accommodating. Location was perfect - a literal stone's throw away from restaurants, shops, and the pier.

Very nice hotel. Very nice location. Restaurant menu was much more limited than what was displayed on-line; perhaps because it was near the end of the season, but disappointing nonetheless

Liked the location...and the building....did not like the lack of handicap parking....we seniors did not care for the rowdiness from the outdoor bar to the left...room was ok....door from entry hall would not fully close....TV was nice...couple decent chairs to watch it from instead of those 2 wooden kitchen chairs would have been nice also...hand rail in the bath tub was appreciated...pedestal sink needs to be secured to the wall....and T-P holder on wall to rear of toilet.....REALLY??......location and flimsy paper led to much shredded paper.....Desk people were nice as was dinner in dining room......

Very quiet spot on the water. Everything is within walking distance for food, coffee, and souvenirs. Our room was very clean, small balcony that looked onto a flat roof with mechanicals then west over the water. Didn't find too much to do except walk around and enjoy the quiet.

Great location. Comfortable room. Don’t expect any service. Room has enough supplies for one day. Towels can last a couple days but No one checks the room to replenish soaps, coffee/cup/setup

A Gem in Boothbay Harbor
Fisherman's Wharf is located in the heart of Boothbay Harbor. Hotel is older, but well maintained. We enjoyed a balcony room that overlooked the harbor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant was a nice benefit. Would definitely stay here again.

Location , Location, Location was outstanding ! When though Fisherman’s Wharf is old School, that is made it a great experience, very clean ,staff super accommodating and having a first floor room with a private balcony , views were so beautiful and outstanding !! Within walking distance to everything , Boothbay was by far our favoriate stay in Maine and would love to visit again in the future , will definitely be back!!!!

The room was clean and well kept. The ladies who checked us in were very professional and efficient but not very warm and welcoming. That would have made a huge difference.

This hotel is very run down and looks nothing like the pictures on line. The sheet was dirty and the room overall was dark and dingy looking. The towels didn’t smell good and the view was nothing like the pictures either. Overall i feel like i was scammed

This is a quant, old school motel located in the heart of Boothbay. Great on-site bar and restaurant and plenty of near by shopping and activities.

Great Stay! Will be Back!!
Friendly staff, from the parking attendant to the front desk and restaurant staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. Let us park early and texted when the room was ready which was 3 hrs ahead of normal check-in. Great location, right on the water, walkable distances from all the Boothbay Harbor has to offer, great views. Loved all the historic photos and captions in the hallways too.

It was exactly as expected..old style fishing village. Walked to the whale watching tour dock...got a great video of a hump back whale breaching and other whales as well. The restaurant food was fabulous too. Staff is A

The best location, walkable to great shopping and restaurants. Quaint, older, and the room slants. They leave 2 plastic bags with clean towels and sheets outside your door each morning. Lady at front desk was not welcoming. Valet, he was great! I would go back, because of the location and fair price.
