"Birch Cottage is everything a person would want! It was so snuggly! Very clean! We loved the beams and the wood ceiling! A quality home! It was so nice to stay there, close to all the locations and hiking woods! We enjoyed The Botanical Garden Aglow while we were there too! The beautiful home is close enough to town to long walk too, or take a jog! Pajama shopping at the end of November was a blast! Loved seeing the town get together! Such fun! "We loved the house--it was homey and clean, and it felt like someone's actual home. So many short term rentals these days are investment properties and feel like they've been outfitted by AI--something that had a vague idea of what a human on vacation might want, but no actual human experience. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the things we needed, the livingroom was cozy and all the furniture was comfortable. Sitting on the warm rocks down by the beach was lovely, and there are SO many great places to walk nearby. We highly recommend the Appalachee Preserves, which are just a short walk away. We ate out at Ports of Italy and the Thistle Inn and both were delicious. We had a great visit and would definitely stay here again. "
