"Elegantly styled, this lovely property combines old world charm with modern conveniences. Although the temperature outside dipped to below zero, it was easy to keep the house warm. It was great to be within walking distance of of the town centre and dining out options. There had, apparently, been some confusion between the owner and the cleaners, and the bed had not been made up prior to my arrival. However, Kate responded immediately to my phone call and sent the cleaners to make up the bed...

"A quaint period house well maintained with all the basics needed for a self contained stay (just bring your food). A couple of minor glitches were rectified immediately by our host which was above and beyond what we expected over a weekend. Beds were comfy and warm and the fireplace kept the living area toasty at night. There was an AC to take any chill off the space first thing in the morning. We will definately be trying to book this one next time we are in Armidale."
