Surrounded by nature, with kangaroos and birds nearby, it’s a peaceful spot among the many holiday homes in the region. What’s more, we’re close to attractions like Reef World Aquarium, Urangan Pier, and Lake McKenzie—plus great dining at Enzo’s on the Beach and entertainment at Hervey Bay RSL. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). SAFETY NOTICE: If you have children, be mindful of the dam located at the back of the property Guest Access: Guests can access the tiny home and surrounding areas. They can wander around the property as there is a communal fire pit at the back and a big beautiful dam that has turtles and looks like a lake. The Neighborhood: Sandy Strait Shack by Tiny Away is in Booral, just 20 minutes from Hervey Bay. It’s a great spot near Fraser Island and the famous Urangan Pier — perfect for beach days, nature walks, and fun on the water. While you’re here, check out Reef World Aquarium in Urangan, a local favourite since 1979\. Don’t miss the Urangan Pier, nearly a kilometre long! Lake McKenzie is also a must-see, with its white sand and clear rainwater.
