The location was perfect. The cabin had beautiful views and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We had a wonderful time during our stay at bearadise.
This is an excellent cabin with tons of amenities and long-range mountain views. It's also close to everything in Banner Elk, including stores, shops and restaurants.
We drove from south Florida and arrived to the house the morning of Dic 23th, the house Its absolutely beautiful, clean, great view, great location (5-10 min away from sugar mountain). We had a great time, and planning to go back.
Property was extremely clean, accommodations were wonderful, view was awesome, woke up to 4 deer feeding in the backyard. Very cozy place especially with the fireplace. Very Peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing. Great Get-Away cabin. My wife and I had a glorious stay. Would definitely return.
My family and I had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. The view from the living room/kitchen is beautiful. The air conditioning was quite cold downstairs but with only one thermostat we couldn't fix that without making it too warm upstairs. It was fine, we just used blankets when we went to bed. The cabin is close to many places (Boone, Banner Elk, Alpine Coaster) and we took advantage of that. I highly recommend Bearidise Cabin!!
This is a nice property with beautiful views. Cabin was comfortable for our family of 5. Could have slept 2 More comfortably. We stayed during a total cold snap with windchill of -10. The furnace did have a hard time keeping up but the office staff promptly sent someone with portable heaters and wood for the fireplace, which was super helpful! For more normal weather, the furnace was just fine! The wood burning fireplace was great. Surface clean was satisfactory but cleaning needs some more attention. I talked with staff about this already and was assured it would be addressed and is not their expectation to have this issue. Location was perfect for going to sugar mountain!

Perfect Retreat!!!
We came to ski, and ski we did! We received over 8inches of snow during our stay. The cabin is 5 minutes from everything. It is updated, very clean and well maintained. Everything you need to function is provided. The fireplace is perfect and cozy, with a view to die for. One of the most beneficial perks about this cabin is its large garage. I have a truck and it fit without a problem which means no snow in the morning to clean off. The rooms are large, and the kitchen is very clean and well maintained. You want for nothing here, and Pablo treated us like family!
The town of Banner Elk is very friendly, and there is a supermarket almost at the entrance where the cabin is located. We found a small lodge called the "Banner Elk Lodge" right on the main road and ate there for breakfast and dinner about 4 times. The staff is very nice, but the food is out of sight and resonably priced. If you have children, make sure to get the hot cocoa!
Not only will we be back, we will be back many more times. Thank you Pablo! You run a tight ship!!
Great location and exactly as described in the ad. Very cute cabin with a nice deck and fire pit. Definitely recommend for a stay in Banner Elk. Loved the emails and texts from the rental company in regards to our stay.
The only negative feedback I’d give:: several large blacks ants seen in multiple locations in the cabin, the cabin was clean overall but definitely needs thorough top to bottom type cleaning, mismatched and poor fitting bed sheets in the master, and a sanitation worker from the rental company popped in unexpectedly while we were still there and they were told nobody was staying there.
Really enjoyed our stay here! The place was just as pictured and had a way of making us feel right at home! We will definitely return to this property!
Perfect location, gorgeous home. It felt like home. The upgrades in the home were very much appreciated. The king bed in the master bedroom was wonderful. The mid entry allowed for teens to keep their mess on the bottom level and it never traveled to the main floor! Will be back in the summer for another visit.
Great mountain retreat, especially during the winter.
Cabin is exactly as advertised. Nice views, great deck for grilling and firepit for relaxation. Master suite is perfect with a nice shower and jet tub. Guest room with queen is very nice (but no closet). Children's room had bunks and a futon - the 10 and 13-year old boys enjoyed their time. Open living area was relaxing and perfect for cooking while being with the family. Highly recommend.
This place is in a great location. Pablo was quick to answer back when we had any questions about the property. Wished that it would have been disclosed there are many neighbors and houses in the view as well as a large hotel. But other than that the stay was great and we really enjoyed going to the sugar mountain ski slopes.
It was so much more than we expected. Beautiful cabin so cozy and warm ! We are already planning to come back next year ! So close to skiing and everything else you need to make your stay complete.
I really liked that the cabin had a natural fireplace. There was plenty of wood for the fire and the bbq grill was in food shape. The cabin was clean and in a great location. Very comfortable for 2 couples and 3 kids. Pablo the owner was very responsive via txt throughout the stay.
The property was beautiful and convenient to local attractions. Lots of hard woods and new appliances made for easy in-home cooking. There is a master suite and a half bath upstairs. The carpet was dirty in the master suite and the jet tub in the mast bath had dead bugs in it. We informed the property manager/owner who immediately asked if we’d like someone sent to clean. We declined as we weren’t planning to use the jet tub and the carpet stains could be dealt with after our stay. The property was a little dusty, but generally clean. There was no toilet paper when we arrived, but all the other necessary amenities were available. We supplied our food and collected kindling around the house for the fireplace. The outside fire pit is not allowed to be used between Oct-Mar according to the in-home guest guide, so don’t plan on s’mores outdoors. We brought stuff to make s’mores but made them in the oven on a pan covered with foil. Still yummy. There were also some board games and puzzles in the house which we took advantage of.
A great family holiday!
We totally enjoyed our one month stay! The property was spacious with all the needed items available. Nice décor, comfortable bedding. Will book again next year.
