The property was the perfect location for an event we were attending in the area. The condo is older and a little dated, but it was exactly as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.
Stayed here from Thursday to Sunday! Drove up from Florida to bring the kiddos to see snow for the first time and we were not disappointed! Beech Mountain ski/snowboard is nearly within walking distance!! Host/owner was extremely accommodating and friendly! Responded to any questions in a timely manner! Overall the stay was excellent and will be looking forward to booking again!
We love pinnacle and beech mountain. Unit was great, my kid loved the bunk beds. We did get a little lost getting to the unit the first time but once we figured it out it was easy. Picture did show 3 chairs at the table but there were only 2, but we made it work for dinner
The owners were a breeze to deal with. We wanted to extend our stay and they made it easy and simple.
The unit is clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty cups, plates, and utensils. Overall, they have a nice place that worked out nicely for our week in the mountains. The balcony has a nice view of the mountains. Sadly, we never got to play shuffleboard on the resort’s grounds.
Great location on Beech Mountain. Close enough to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
I am going to need to separate this review into two parts. The good is that the condo is great. It was clean, roomie, and set up for everything you'd need for your stay. I appreciated the bed, which was the comfiest I've slept in for a long time. The bad is that the complex is rough. The route to the room is a labyrinth of splitting staircases, squishy floors under water damaged carpets, and construction debris. It doesn't seem to be active construction, as much as the hallway floors were covered in paint and dust at some point in the past and left that way. The unit just under this condo seems to be letting their dog live on the porch all day while they are gone. It barked a lot during the day, probably at the multitude of people walking by and yelling outside. I worked a few late shifts during the week, and coming back at 1030pm sketched me out. I wouldn't feel comfortable with my fiancee staying here alone. The complex at some point was probably gorgeous, but it feels like they've given up on maintaining the common areas.Overall, once you get inside this unit, it's wonderful, but the path there isn't the best.
Listing was as described. Host were easy to communicate with. Check in was easy. The view was beautiful. The buildings are older, but we knew that when booking. Looks like they are doing some updates to the building. It was a little difficult to find the unit, and I think some of that was because the entrance that would have been easiest was where they were working and replacing some stairs. Had everything we needed for our weekend. We didn't cook there, but looks like you would have everything you need if you wanted to. The bed was very comfortable and shower was nice and had plenty of pressure. One thing I didn't realize and that was completely on me because I didn't pay attention, but there is no AC. But talking to some people we know in the area, they said that's very common in Beech Mountain. The breeze that came through the balcony was amazing and it actually got chilly. Well my husband said it was freezing and he stayed wrapped up in a blanket most of the time we were in the unit. It was a nice stay with beautiful weather. Next time maybe we can stay longer.
Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Photo is different for the place , smell bad , heat to high have to open the balcony in order to slow down the heating, all the bed sheets are dirty, hard to find , no communication with the host , it’s a complete disaster
It was just what I needed. Beautiful scenery. Workout room, indoor swimming pool. I was there to do some writing and it was perfect. I had everything I needed and very quiet.

Extremely dated. Needs new carpet. Paneling is like from the 70’s. Rust on the side of frig. One of the doors we’re delaminating. The beds were comfortable.
Everything was as described. Great value with a beautiful view. It is quite a climb to the condo so be ready to take quite a few flights of steep stairs. Other than that it has everything we needed for a weekend of hiking. WiFi worked well. The deer grazing around the property were a neat experience.
My partner & I travelled to Beech Mountain to Ski/Snowboard for a couple days. This was the perfect spot for two people, super close to the mountain, and a pool/hot tub to relax in after a long day on the slopes!
Not our first time at the Pinnacle, but first time in this unit. Cozy old school vibes, not super modern and full of amenities. However that's perfect for us being that we
I went to Beech Mountain to go skiing with my children for the first time, this was a great place to stay. It was a quaint, clean place to stay. The pool and hot tub were the biggest plusses for the sore muscles after skiing. Location to the ski resort was also very nice, only a 5 min drive down the hill.
Thank You
We enjoyed staying at this condo. The location was 5 minutes from the ski slope! The unit was very clean and a good size for my husband and I and our two young boys. The only thing that was tricky was navigating to the unit without an elevator with all of our luggage and kids. Checkin was a breeze! We also enjoyed the resort amenities such as the pool and hot tub. This was very reasonably priced and very clean! I definitely recommend this condo!
Overall, my son and I had a great stay! He loved having a cozy little sleep spot in the kid bunks, and I loved having a fabulous view along with not having to drag linens and towels with us. Communication with hosts was easy; we were able to add another adult to our reservation with no issues. My only real.complaint is the living room seating. The listing shows a normal comfy couch but the couch in the room wasn't a real couch. It was some kind of pull out bed that didn't even have a back and wasn't comfortable in any way. It made snuggling up for a movie a little difficult. Also check the heaters when you arrive, if you visit in early summer. I couldn't figure out why the bedroom was so hot at night because I never walked around the bed where the heater is located. Once I turned that off, all was well.
