I book superior mountain view room, my view was a factory that was open and noisy 24 hours a day. The view of two large chimney of misty, white smoke was " the mountain view". The four nights i stayed they come to clean the room one time only, not bothering to replace the towels. The hotel does notvhave the pool. It is connecting to nearby aqua park, which is used by a lot of school kids

Best place to stay in Bohinj
Probably the best place to stay in Bohinj, Bowling Alley is a great touch and we made good use of it! Friendly and helpful staff made our stay comfortable, even when the airline lost our luggage. Free shuttle to the slopes. Overall, highly recommended and we will stay here again.

Nothing wrong, but nothing special for the price
There's nothing explicitly wrong with this hotel, but there's nothing special about it either given the choice of other accommodations in the surrounding area. The rooms are adequate but boring, the staff is lackluster, the food (we had breakfast) satisfactory, so you are not hungry. but definitely not standing out in any way. And we could do without the staff arguing loudly during breakfast ... Also, we booked a "Mountain View" room and even joked before arriving how could any room in Bohinj not have a view of the mountains ... well, we had a parking lot view! For the price you can do much better in Bohinjska Bistrica and the surrounding area and best leave this hotel to conference guests, which it was full of when we were there (late November).

The hotel was easy to find. The room is spacious and looked nice designed but felt a little old. Good enough for us to stay 1 night in between visiting near by beautiful nature. The breakfast buffet has a great range including some local dishes. It looked busy but there are some empty tables so it was not very packed. At our arrival, we saw many teens/younger crowds (like a school trip) and we were afraid of some noise and traffic but it was alright. We saw other business groups, so we assume the hotel accepts many big groups as well. Communication with the hotel staff before our arrival was not very smooth due to their English (I hope), but the staff we checked us in was helpful. We did not get to use the spa as we arrive late. I wanted to try their pool in the spa lounge but I needed to book a massage to use so I gave up.

Nice hotel with a nice breakfast. Most of the facilities were closed at daytime and opened only at 16:00. The rooms was pretty basic but clean and comfortable.

Not what we expected
We were rather disappointed with this stay. Place came across as a fancy hotel/spa with relaxing pools. Instead it was a rather standard hotel, with an external public pool (with loads of people) and not overly friendly staff. Hotels.com did its usual trick of saying the price was down from a laughable €500 which also gave us false expectations.

Room was good and well facilitated. However, I did spot a couple of bed bugs in the room the following morning which I have reported to the hotel staff, so this made the stay a little disappointing.

A nice place, but also possibilities to improve
The hotel is nice and clean. It is adjacent to the indoor waterpark which is great for families with small children but a bit noisy and crowded for couples and older visitors. For such visitors though, there is a nice wellnes at the top of the hotel with great views of the surrounding mountains. Although they try to show off as the best local hotel, there are many details that where they could approve: juice glasses were right hot from the machine in the morning, and selection of cheese for breakfast was poor (not to mention that there were almost no breakfast vegan options). Also, there was no towels available in sauna. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and helpfull and there are many hiking and swimming possibilities in the area, many of which easily accessible with local public transportation.

Great location, easy to park. The room was spacious and very clean and modern. However, we had a room just off the main reception area and it was a little noisy, we could hear everyone coming and going. We arrived late for dinner, there is only a buffet option, no menu choice, and there was hardly anything left. We went into the town to eat, which was much nicer and cheaper.

Service needs to be improved
We asked to exchange our room when many night bugs entered our room through the open window. The staff was very reluctant to switch our room and we had to plead them to agree to our request. The quality of the hotel’s restaurant food is very poor. My wife ordered a risotto dish that was uneatable. Overall, the room was not clean enough and the staff staff was not friendly. The hotel location is good.

Nice base to explore the area
Hotel is nicely decorated, our room seemed new, clean and modern. The lady on reception was really helpful and friendly and we were able to check in very early without charge. Breakfast was extremely busy but there was plenty to go around. The water park area was good for kids to run around and there was a nice sunbathing area by the quieter outside pool. Plenty of free car parking spaces. Not many places to eat nearby.

Quick stop over
Last minute stay. Hotel has good parking. Staff were good. Room was clean and comfortable. Used the indoor pool which was excellent especially as we had it to ourselves. Just missed the outdoor one as it closes earlier. Wellness area as a warning to British people is a naked one! So expect an eye full, i was a bit shocked and just wore a towel as did my girlfriend. The surrounding area is gorgeous, short 5 min walk to shops.

We were upgraded to the suite in floor #4 and it was amazing room BUT the beds were awful not comfortable at all and making so much noise whenever you just touch it. Beside that the hotel is very clean, good breakfast and good location. the Aqua park is also very nice.

Check in was appalling. I had to ask about everything (where to park, what time and where breakfast was, where the facilities were). Each question was met with an annoyed look. The ‘view’ from the room was of the back of a run down house with tiny glimpses of a mountain. Although it was a standard room the lookout was still very disappointing for the price of the accommodation compared to others in the area. In fact none of the rooms have a great room as the main aspect of the hotel is over the car park.

Nice hotel w/ indoor waterpark
Great location just a few minutes drive from Lake Bled. No shopping nearby l, w/ limited dining options. Restaurants in hotel offered good meals for fair price. Staff was friendly and attentive.Hotel was clean and updated. Free parking for guests. Best selling point is attached water park with multiple pools, hot tubs, "rivers" and climbing wall with waterfall. Kids absolutely loved it.

A tired and understaffed hotel with a good pool
Pros: Pretty surroundings; good buffet (breakfast and dinner); great pool complex; friendly staff (but not enough of them); ample free parking. Cons: Lake not within walking distance; the hotel has not been invested in and is tired: the TV didn't consistently work; there was a power cut; the aircon was turned off; facilities (yoga and bowling) were only available if booked well in advance (low staff numbers presumably); hotel doesn't abide by its own literature (the restaurant claimed to specialise in vegetarian dishes but didn't have any on the a la carte menu). Also not convinced by the "eco" claims given the lack of plugs for sinks etc. The fitness centre is a disgrace - all machines broken; no aircon; weights broken in half; children in gym unsupervised; messy - I was only able to work out because I brought my own TRx cables and push-up bars.

About 20min drive to Bled.
The bathrooms are great, modern and good water pressure. The rooms (we had 2) were dull but comfortable. The lobby area was bit haphazard. The breakfast was very average.

Excellent relaxing at Eco park hotel
My husband and I stayed here two nights and it was simply great - a combination of outdoor activities and indoor is possible, so we always had a choice (swimming pool or outdoor walks). Staff very friendly and always found solutions for us. will come again.

Great hotel with big spa in the Julian Alps
Beautiful and very quiet hotel complexe in the Julilan Alps with excellent spa (outstanding massage). Very warm welcome in outstanding English, very competent and helpful recepcionists. Big superior room with very spacious bathroom. Good breakfast. Highly recommend, also because of its ideal location from where many things can be visited and sports undertaken.
