Rosamunde Pilcher’s TV series is based on her books when she was located in the county, despite leaving for Scotland after her marriage in 1946\. False advertised this property. Property I paid for was at one location whereas what I was offered is in another remote location almost, 1 hour away from what is advertised, in the middle of nowhere. They refused to refund my money or move me to where they advertised and I paid for. This matter is being escalated to court. Book accommodation on this site at your own peril! Customer service was zero, I was tossed around via email and phone and no one helped. We could not stay there and my children and I were stranded. Vor Ort zeigte sich dann jedoch, dass das Ferienhaus in Wirklichkeit 35 km von Newquay entfernt und im Landesinneren lag, so dass wir für Ausflüge an die Küste jedesmal eine Autofahrt von 20-30 Minuten machen mussten. Verhandlungen mit dem Vermieter über eine angemessene Entschädigung für die Falschangabe des Ortes gestalten sich schwierig und sind noch nicht abgeschlossen. Das Haus selbst war geschmackvoll eingerichtet , die Ausstattung der Küche war jedoch etwas spärlich. ##### Kerstin W.
