Bodensdorf

Bodensdorf is situated about 60 miles (97 kilometers) west of Vienna, the national capital, and approximately 75 miles (121 kilometers) north of Graz.

The region is a firm fixture on the tourist trail. To see why, rent a car and discover the other interesting attractions within easy traveling distance of Bodensdorf. Prinzersdorf and Waidhofen An Der Ybbs are two other places worth visiting while you're in Lower Austria.

Approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the east of Bodensdorf is Sankt Polten, a regional center where you'll find Landesmuseum, Lilienfeld Stiftskirche and Domplatz. Sankt Polten has plenty to offer those happy to hang around a little longer. Sankt Polten Synagogue, St. Polten Cathedral and Sankt Polten Town Hall (Rathaus) are other places not to miss.

If the weather is good, head outside to explore Lower Austria's gardens and open-air museums. No matter what your faith, visitors are guaranteed to find a little serenity in Lower Austria's churches and other places of worship.

If you like to feel the tickle of snowflakes upon your nose, this area could be an excellent fit. The region is well-known for its snow shoeing and cross-country skiing.
