Seabreeze Villas Welcome to Villa Number Five @caymanislands\_vacation\_rentals This 2-story, modern condo is located directly on the beach with the most incredible views of Cayman’s crystal blue water. The entire unit has been meticulously renovated by an award-winning design firm, complete with high-end finishes and furnishings. This will have you feeling like you’re staying at a five-star resort, but at the fraction of the price. It’s a true beachfront oasis, with all the luxuries and amenities of home. Located in the quaint village of Bodden Town, you’ll be centrally located between 7Mile Beach, East End and Rum Point. This quiet part of Cayman has that true “island-vibe”, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing or adventurous vacation. A rental car is not included however highly recommended as the island is too beautiful not to explore. You can rent a car from the Expedia website for as low as $9/day! Just choose "GCM Owen Roberts International Airport" for the pickup and drop off location as the rental car companies are a 3-5 minute walk from the airport entrane/exit doors :) People from all backgrounds welcome. \*Please note that the condo is ideally suited for 4 guests or 2 couples comfortably. There is no charge for additional guests (up to 6 in total) however note that for the additional guests, there is an inflatable mattress (stored in one of the bedroom closets) that sleeps up to two and the sofa in the livingroom sleeps one. OTHER AMENITIES INCLUDE: Smart TV in the living room with Netflix, keyless door entry, high chair, playpen with extra mattress for comfort, filtered water from the refrigerator (no need to purchase bottled water) and ice maker, kitchen is stocked with basic essentials, Keurig coffee maker, snorkeling gear (x2 sets), beach towels. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: I try to accommodate all guests during the "purgatory period" between 11am-4pm when the condo is being cleaned. Flights may land earlier than checkin time and depart later than checkout time. That said, the bedrooms are cleaned first and utilized as holding rooms for the luggage. Note that there is never an additional charge for an early checkin/late checkout in hopes that everyone can understand and work together on a stress free vacation arrival/departure. I do need a heads up please in case an early checkin/late checkout is in fact needed, so I can communicate with guests arriving/departing so everyone can be on the same page. Only in the summer months, there may be some sargassum/seaweed on the beach that Mother Nature gifts us which is out of our control and the landscaping team works diligently to remove as much sargassum as they can on a daily basis. There are several beautiful beaches around the island that you could explore and the property is stocked with portable folding beach chairs, cooler and some beach goodies you bring with you to enjoy when exploring. For bookings that are 14 days and longer, one complimentary maid service will be offered every 7 days. TRAVELLING WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS/FAMILY AND NEED TO BOOK EXTRA VILLAS? The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The remodeled bathrooms were very nice!We only cooked breakfast in the villa and visited many local restaurants for lunch and dinner. The location of the villa is perfect on the island - pretty evenly spaced between the beautiful 7 Mile beach and Rum Point. We did a few excursions at each location so this was very handy. There is a great beach with loungers that are so private - and great snorkeling right from the villa. The host was very easy to contact if needed. We would definitely stay here again! ##### terri m. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. She is very responsive and helpful. The place itself is amazing...has everything you need. A lot of attention to detail. Looks exactly like in the photos. The location was also perfect for us. We had a rental car so it was easy to get around to seven mile beach, George Town and Rum point....the location was between all three so very convenient. Overall a nice townhouse. Villa could do with a few extra amenities like a drip coffee maker, wine glasses, more space in the closets for clothes, ( there were lots of owner closets). The proximity to the pool and beach is fantastic, especially for families with young kids. You can enjoy the pool while your children take a nap in the house. The home itself is beautiful. I suggest renting a car, as I found that there aren't many nearby restaurants. If you go to 7 Mile Beach and drive back to the condo, keep in mind that rush-hour traffic can be quite heavy from 5 to 7 PM. I didn’t experience morning traffic, so I can’t speak to that.The house was well-stocked with everything my children and I needed, including paper products and toiletries. They provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, and dish detergent, which was very convenient. Parking is easy, as the spot is right in front of the condo door.The beach is beautiful, though it gets a bit rocky if you walk away from the property on either side. However, you can enjoy snorkeling right in front of the condo, which is a nice perk. Don’t miss the cafe/bakery located right across the street; it’s delicious!Overall, I would definitely go back to this condo. Our traveling party included my hudband and I and our 14-year-old son and my parents, who are in their late 60s. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed to prepare our breakfasts and lunches. In the evenings we enjoyed some great local restaurants. We were the only ones there most of the week and had the pool and beach to ourselves. One thing not mentioned on the VRBO site is that the bedrooms are upstairs. This did not bother us, but if you have impaired mobility,it might be a problem. One bedroom has a king bed and looks out over the beach & the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and looks out over the parking lot (both have small balconies). We slept in the room with the queen bed and both felt the bed was extremely firm (i know this is a personal preference, but my husband and I both thought it was very uncomfortable). My parents said their bed was medium firmness & comfortable. Our son slept on the couch downstairs When stepping out on to the patio, my dad cut a chunk out of his heel when he stepped onto a bolt used to attach the hurricane shutters to the building (could use some sort of cover). The view from the villa is stunning. There was some sargassum on the beach but every morning two men came and raked it up and disposed of it. There was good snorkeling from the beach, though we did have windy conditions all week. We highly recommend this villa! ##### Laurie K.
