First Vrbo. Won’t do again.
Check in process was not explained in detail. Arriving after a long drive it was complicated because it was not explained that key was in box. The code for box was given to us but no further explanation Ice was frozen in one large clump. Took a while to break up without damaging container Queen bed not a king as we were led to believe. Does Bluffton not recycle. Left them on kitchen counter because there was no place to put them Laundry room closet smelled bad. Need to leave washer door and drawer open. It’s a tight squeeze but the closet doors could also remain open until guests arrive. Our extra family member was not able to come but had she been there, there were no linens for couch. And only two sets of towels. Also, after traveling I would have liked at least one days worth of shampoo and conditioner and coffee. We left ours. And last but not least - construction on two buildings across the street. Very noisy most of the day. Long stair climb for senior citizens. Won’t let me rate without online listing comment. We did not do reservation, our daughter did so I have no way of rating this. You should not make all rating required.

The place and location were great. However it was advertised to sleep 4 with linen and towels provided. There were no linens for the second bed or towels for the second two people. When I contacted management they reluctantly provided us a second set of sheets - no pillows and no additional towels.

Good location, nice property
The property was very clean. The location is excellent for walking / biking in Old-Town Bluffton area. The unit was lacking a little in furnishings, both quality, and quantity. It had the basics, but they were the 'basics.' It could use a small table and a few chairs, another set of bath towels, dishcloths, plates, heat-resistant utensils, etc. It wasn't terrible or anything. But for a few hundred dollars, the unit would compare more favorably to other VRBOs in the same neighborhood that we've stayed in.

Fall Getaway
Lovely, charming loft in the MIDDLE of “Old Town” Bluffton. Unbelievable views from 2nd floor covered porch. Sat in rocking chairs in the evenings and enjoyed the view of old oak trees with moss, listening to local outdoor music from restaurants and festival….but we could not hear anything when inside the apartment. Quiet and peaceful! Walked to all shops, restaurants, activities and May River. Immaculately clean and inviting decor. Cannot wait to stay here again soon!

This is my second time staying at this property, which tells you something! It is spacious, bright and clean. Convenient to all of the charms of Old Town Bluffton, but also quiet at night. The large porch with rocking chairs is awesome!

Absolutely Perfect!
We had the best trip to Bluffton starting with checking in to this adorable new apartment. It was clean and spacious for just the 2 of us. We also booked a crabbing trip with the owner, Chris Shoemaker, for that evening. It was beautiful exploring the May River and we got some fresh crabs and shrimp for dinner. The location is perfect for walking to the water or downtown for coffee, breakfast and dinner. Our only regret was not booking it for longer. We were traveling around a lot and wanted to come back while we were still in the area but it was fully booked. We will be back again for sure and hopefully book a fishing trip with you. Thank you Chris for a wonderful vacation and tour of Bluffton!

Absolutely beautiful property, perfect for our stay in Bluffton.
This really is a beautiful property, my wife and I were very pleased with our stay -- extremely comfortable, simple tasteful design, a perfect base for a long weekend exploring Bluffton and HH. Many (!) restaurants (and CornerPerk for morning coffee) just a few blocks walk away, as well as the river. Bluffton appears to be growing rapidly, there is some construction nearby, and traffic in/out of the city was a little congested, but otherwise a beautiful and very fun place to visit.

This listing is wonderful! Location is walking distance to the water—where you can walk around the park, church, rock and even grab a water taxi—and then to the downtown where all the restaurants are located. The space was super clean and spacious! Full kitchen, laundry, bathroom. I did not enjoy the cleaning crew knocking on my door at 8:45am to ask if we were checking out early the morning after July 4th when check out is not until 11am otherwise we had an excellent experience!

Warm, cozy, wonderful and centrally located!
Very livable condo! Great rocking chair balcony with plenty of shade and cool fan for the warmer days. Slept well on a very nice mattress. Excellent closet space. Centrally located in Old Town Bluffton and walking distance to amazing restaurants, bistros and bars along with many outdoor activities and a short walking distance to great waterfront docks. Incredibly responsive host and staff. Tanger Outlets and Hilton Head within a 10 minute drive. We'll be back.

Perfect Anniversary Get Away
Perfect location for those that are wanting to indulge in the Bluffton experience. The location of this apartment could not be better. All the shops and restaurants are steps away. Overall property is well maintained and clean.
