A very comfortable and relaxing getaway. The hosts are very responsive. Couldn't be happier!A few things to be aware of, though. There are two bathrooms, both with beautiful old claw foot tubs. If you have limited mobilty or trouble lifting your leg to get in for a shower or bath, you may have an issue. Ditto if you have balance issues. (FYI The shower is in the upstairs tub.) The entryway and kitchen have beautiful brick flooring, but it is uneven, so again, those with mobility issues will want to watch their footing.Also, this is an old farmhouse, so there are steps (usually 1 or 2) to get into many of the rooms. Finally, the older part of the house has low ceilings, and taller people will need to watch their head when using the stairs.If you have any concerns, don't hesitate to ask the owners before you book. Walking in the door takes you back to a time that most of us can only read about without sacraficing the modern conveniences. Pictures don't do the property justice as many details have been maintined from centries past. And coffee never tasted so good sitting outside by the pond at dawn while also walking the grounds/stables with a good cigar in the evening. Our host Donnie was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed.
