Magnificent any time of year

"This is an exceptional property in every way. The cabin is gorgeous with huge windows that allow you to gaze in wonder at the stars at night. It’s easy living if you want to cook and relax. We used it as a base for attending numerous events for a week-long family reunion with family who live in the area. We do have one suggestion to make it even better — All the pillows on every bed are large and firm — almost like a body pillow. An assortment of types and styles of pillows would have been better. I know those high loft pillows are good for some people but I was very glad I brought my smaller, flatter, down filled pillow which is better for my neck. My husband wished he brought his own pillow too. But the pillows should not be a deal breaker… it’s a gorgeous cabin and we loved it. Our dog especially enjoyed Blueberry Lake - about 10 min drive away. Thanks so much for your hospitality!"

"I just wanted to say this place is very nice and quiet. As a paraplegic wheelchair user I would highly recommend Pine Meadow Retreat. It is one of the most accessible properties I have stayed at while traveling. Bed heights are good, roll in shower is spacious and you can roll under the sink. It was very well thought out. The host, Kate was super nice and responds promptly. I will definitely be returning. Thank you guys for a great, comfortable place to stay."

"Far from the maddening crowd! Private, very quiet location nestled on a mountainside with easy access to beautiful Blueberry Lake, great for swimming and water activities. The chalet is lovely. It was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. It is suffused with light in the large and very comfortable living area/open kitchen. The fact that it's pet friendly was a big plus for us. The host was eminently accessible to answer questions and the caretaker very responsive to our needs, especially in picking up the garbage, which can't be left outside because of bears. Although "off the road", it's an easy trip to Waitsfield, a lovely town with community activities and good food. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway in a beautiful place, this is it!"
Mad Mountain Meadows - Stunning Mountain Views!

"A great place to enjoy lovely mountain views from the dining area and sunroom. On a clear day you can use the telescope to see the moon's terrain. The cool weather was glorious for sleeping without air conditioner although ACs were in every room if needed. We enjoyed playing fussball, throwing darts, and playing volleyball (brought our own) on the extensive lawn. Cleared paths around the property made morning walks so peaceful and relaxing. The home is 6 minutes from Blueberry Lake, 10 minutes from Warren Falls, 50 minutes to Burlington (so many stores to get lost in, restaurants and Lake Champlain), 15 minutes to Waitsfield (beautiful town, covered bridge and shallow creek for kids to explore), 33 minutes to Waterbury (Ben & Jerry Factory - Fun!, Cabot Cheese Store and Cold Cider Mill - Great Cider Donuts, free cider tasting in the back and so many cute products for purchase), 30 minutes to Montpelier (Capital of Vermont - Free State House Tour Mon- Fri - Breathtaking, great town to explore and Climb Tower for free in Hubbard Park for a scenic view of the Green Mountains) and 47 minutes to East Montpelier (Bragg Farm - Maple Tour and Tasting, Play Area for kids and tasty Maple Creemees). The higher elevation is perfect for a cooler morning. You may want to pack a sweater for a stay in mid July."

"Beautiful, well maintained home in an area with spectacular views!! My family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was peaceful, quiet and serene. The surrounding areas lent spectacular Mountain views and quaint town centers. Highly recommend this home for its cleanliness and accurate descriptions."

"The Vines is a beautiful home with luxurious accommodations. We booked this property because it was perfect for our large family, and it truly exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for everyone—comfortable beds, great common areas to spend time together, and enough room to spread out when needed. We stayed while attending our daughter’s graduation from Norwich University, and the location was ideal—close enough to town, yet peaceful and tucked away. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again."
