About this property
The "Belknap Cabin"
WOW! This nearly new cedar shake cabin is absolutely perfect with the hard wood floors, the knotty pine walls and ceilings, the large classic wood stove, the huge elevated deck with gas grill, the separate private sleeping areas, the fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances and the memories your gatherings will cherish forever! Belknap Covered Bridge is located just west of the cabin, thus the name. Enjoy this beautiful gem on the edge of the Willamette National Forest -- known for its multiple natural hot-springs, vast ancient lava flows, old growth forests and endless hiking and mountain biking options. There are several high cascade lakes scattered through the foothills of the Cascade Mountains that surround this Upper Mckenzie River Valley locale. Look up The Willamette National Forest and you'll find lots of information about the many adventures your group can experience. We recommend that you make sure you see The Blue Pool, Clear Lake, Sahalie Falls, Koosah Falls, Proxy Falls, Scott Lake and Terwilliger Hot-Springs. Tokatee Golf Course is minutes close and so are 3 nice restaurants for your dining pleasure. Bring the bikes, because King Rd and Rainbow Dr (Mckenzie River Dr) are wonderful biking roads with minimal slow traffic and huge views of the river and the Three Sisters Mountains to the east. Feel free to contact Jonathan if you have any questions or need any referrals to services.

The cabin is immaculate and well stocked. Near hiking and dining! We enjoyed the peace and quiet on the deck. Love all the window seats! Wish we could stay longer!
An impromptu visit to Blue River, Oregon brought us back to the Belknap Cabin. It was so lovely to see this property during a late season snowstorm as our previous visit was during the middle of the summer. In both instances we couldn’t have picked a better destination and again, we will be back!
This cabin was exactly what we were hoping for and more. The location to the river is perfect and the cabin is pristine. We needed a nice little two-night getaway, and this property exceeded our expectations in every way. Kudos to the very nice owners, the property is our new favorite!
This is our favorite vrbo property. It is a beautiful house located on the McKenzie river. It is gorgeous inside and out. Sitting on the deck and listening to the river is so soothing. It is so comfortable and welcoming. We have stayed here twice and will certainly return.
It was a clean, beautifully designed home with a wood interior, comfortable master bed (I didn’t ask about the others) lots of bedding materials for our six-member family, beautiful location by the river, kitchen was well appointed. We had a pleasant and relaxing time there.
Everything was as advertised. Could use better internet in main floor bed and bathroom. Almost non existent there. It's excellent in the living room and upstairs bedroom.

We only stayed two nights and spent most of the time at a nearby wedding venue. Wished we had more time to sit on the deck an enjoy the McKenzie River or to use some of the nearby hiking trails. Screened porch with table chairs and bunk bed is great feature for a larger group.
My husband and I discovered this little cabin several years ago before it was listed with VRBO. It became our favorite Anniversary getaway. Quiet, lots to do in the area and the cabin is super cozy. We brought our 3 girls for the New Year. They loved it! Will return again for some RNR.
I booked this beautiful Cabin for my husband and I to get away for his birthday. We wanted a spot close enough to the hot springs, and in nature, this was the perfect spot. The Host was very responsive and provided great information for the area as soon as we booked. Gorgeous views of the river from anywhere in the house, my favorite spots were the window nooks.
If we are back in the area we would definitely book again, and hoping to bring family next time, as there was more than enough space for a few more.
What a gem of a cabin. Every window had amazing views and you could hear the sound of the river throughout. Decorated super cute, very clean and well equipped. Beautiful well kept grounds. Great location very quiet and private. We cooked some meals in and enjoyed the kitchen. Great bathrooms with great water pressure. We all felt super relaxed throughout our stay. Great meals at Dakotas and Obsidian Grill. We soaked in the pool at Belknap Hot Springs and went on an amazing hike at Blue Pool.
The cabin is SO well kept and comfortable. They provide every type of amenity you might need or want and the location is AMAZING! It was my 2nd time staying here and I will be back!
