Riverfront Luxury Cabin #9 at The Log Cabin Inn
Come and stay in this riverfront luxury cabin on the magnificent upper McKenzie River! This is a clean cozy cabin positioned perfectly on a large grassy meadow with a huge river view. It’s a great place to enjoy outdoor activities or just relax and unwind with family and friends.
The area surrounding the cabin is The Willamette National Forest. It’s known for its high cascade lakes, waterfalls, natural hot springs, and lava flows. You are only minutes away from hiking, biking, boating, fishing, white water rafting, swimming, golfing, skiing, tubing, and restaurants.
Cabin 9 is simply charming with its cedar shingle exterior and beautiful landscaping. When you walk in you will experience the warmth of the knotty pine walls, Douglas Fir floors, vaulted ceilings, and river rock gas fireplace.
And who says you have to “rough it” when staying in a cabin? Cabin 9 is extremely well appointed with all the modern conveniences and luxuries of home. The furniture was chosen with comfort in mind, especially the oversized leather chair in the living room which has a direct river view. So grab a fuzzy blanket, kick your feet up on the ottoman, and dive into a good book or watch a show on the big screen TV. The kitchen is very well stocked with tools and appliances for all your cooking needs. Take advantage of the screened-in porch by sitting on the plush cushions of the large sectional and relax, bug free! Have fun playing one of the many indoor or outdoor games provided. At night, crack open your bedroom windows, snuggle up under the down comforters of the king sized beds, and let the sounds of the river lull you to sleep.
This cabin is part of The Log Cabin Inn which is a planned community of 22 cabins thoughtfully spread out on 7 acres of private land. The common grounds include 3 separate meadows divided by stands of old growth trees, edged with manicured flower gardens, and 900 feet of pristine river frontage. Feel free to stroll about the property and explore, fish from the banks, and watch the river rafters float by. There is truly nothing else like this on the McKenzie River!
Cabin 9 is positioned in an ideal location on the property. It’s on the edge of the largest open grassy meadow so it gets lots of natural light and it’s close to the river with an expansive water view. It’s also far away from the parking areas and the highway so all you hear is the intoxicating sounds of rushing water and birds chirping.
This is the quintessential cabin experience for your next vacation getaway. “Rustic” living with all the modern conveniences, numerous outdoor activities to choose from, and a peaceful place to come and enjoy time with family and friends.
Thank you for choosing our cabin. We hope you love it as much as we do!

The Property totally met our expectations and beyond. We had a very relaxing stay. It was quiet, peaceful and wonderful to be so close to the River. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a great visit.
The cabin was lovely, comfortable furnishings and fully equipped kitchen. The view of the river and surroundings was wonderful. A great place to relax, unwind, and unplug. Totally Retreat!
This cabin met all our needs:all the comforts and wonderful location within steps of the McKenzie River. Our favorite was spending time on the screened-in porch.
Our stay was very relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals-in. Fully stocked with very nice pots & pans. There are restaurants nearby, too. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. The furniture is comfy and the decor provides a relaxed and warm space. The view and sounds of the river are beautiful
We asked to check in an hour early and the management was very accommodating. We found the place very clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone that wants a relaxing stay. The sound of the river was so soothing.
Came to a family wedding and rented a cabin for a few days. It was extremely clean, convenient, and well appointed. We felt completely at home and every amenity that you could think of was provided. We would love to return someday.
This cabin is absolutely spotless and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch listening to the river when we weren’t hiking or attending wedding festivities. We highly recommend this property and would definitely return if we are ever in the area again. Great cabin, easy check-in, perfect location.
This cabin is beautiful. It is spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is situated on a beautiful lawn that leads to the river. Sitting at the river's edge was delightful. I look forward to renting this cabin again.
So much more wonderful than we had imagined. Beautifully clean, well-outfitted, huge, comfortable beds, big tv that was easy to use, but above all a spectacular location right on the Mackenzie River.
One word... WOW! We needed a place to stay for 2 nights, close to Loloma Lodge for a wedding event, and we left wanting to stay for the rest of week!!
It was a quaint and cozy home plus the roaring river was peaceful!! This is a little piece of Heaven!!
Nothing short of wonderful. My grandparents were visiting Oregon for the first time and this cabin was absolutely enchanting. The view and constant sounds of the river was magical. We had anything we could possibly need in the kitchen and the beds and rooms were so cozy with great options for temperature control. The indoor fireplace kept the whole place nice and warm on chilly days and the sound bar on the tv was so nice I want one myself now. We already want to make plans to return!
This was the perfect place to stay. So relaxing, quiet, with beautiful views. At night time, we came outside to look at the stars (INCREDIBLE VIEW!). The cabin was clean & cozy. The McKenzie General Store & Obsidian Grill Restaurant is literally a 10 second drive - which is a general store, restaurant, and has coffee as well. This was very convenient for us. Also, we loved hearing the river from the cabin on the porch. You must stay here when visiting McKenzie Bridge!
We loved our stay our here! It was right on the water where there was fishing right there. We didn't catch anything but I am a novice. The binder provides a ton of information on where the best fishing and hiking is in great detail as well tips that only locals may know on where and when to go for things. Everything from furniture to the kitchen stock was premium and clean. The two unit has it's own fireplace & grill which was great. It's nestled among other units that are pretty close but you still have a sense of isolation with a touch of safety/community nearby. The gardening/landscaping on the whole property was award-winning. Not sure if they all go in together but touring the hundreds of thoughtfully designed landscaped beds was a treat in itself. In walking distance is a cute tavern/store with an excellent outdoor space that plays live music on Thursday and Sat nights. It was also a coffee shop. About another 5 min down the road is a gas station with more amenities than your typical (basic groceries like tomatoes, onions, etc. / fishing gear). We have no complaints. Love the place and will recommend to others!
