Find the Best Blue Ridge Mountains Bed and Breakfast

This is one of the best bed and breakfast places I have stayed at. Donna made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The setting is fantastic down by the Shenandoah river with lots of space outside to hang around in. The rooms are comfortable with lots of places to relax inside as well. The breakfasts we had were first class. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in the area.

We give Steeles Tavern Inn the highest recommendation. Our hosts (Trey and Dana) gave us hospitality that was second to none. Going the extra mile to provide extra early breakfasts and thoughtfully cater for our every need. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and of very high quality, a real home from home. The three course breakfasts menus were exceptional and we enjoyed every minute of our 5 night stay. In every way superb.

Dan and Diane are the perfect hosts for a convivial stay in this great B and B. We stayed three nights. There is plenty to do in the area. Diane’s breakfasts are legendary, and she individualises them for guest preferences. We were there over Halloween which was a blast. There are wine and coffee and snacks available in the cosy public areas which is great for getting to know your fellow guests, but no pressure if you don’t want to.

This place looks nice in the pictures but it is much more amazing in person. We stayed in the La Vista room which was massive and had a lovely big bed and bath tub. We got to see a family of deer having their dinner as we soaked in the pool. The owners were there to greet us on arrival and were both friendly. They provided sweet snacks, tea, coffee and wine and they cooked us a delicious french toast breakfast in the morning. We actually wish we had stayed for more than one night

Martha and her family could not have made us more welcome. The house was absolutely stunning and decorated beautifully throughout. The attention to detail was second to none. The breakfast was unlike anything we have ever experienced, a truly unique occasion made even grander by Martha's Mum and Dad waiting on us in full service uniform including white gloves. We only wished we had booked a longer stay, and will definitely be back.

We came across this place purely by chance, as we had a day in hand while driving across the state and were simply looking for somewhere with an outdoor pool for some R&R. What a find, and rather better than some random Hampton Inn!!! It's a beautiful place and even us jaded Brits were impressed with the historic house, the decor and the setting. The hosts were attentive and friendly but, with no other guests there, we really felt we had the place to ourselves. Would highly recommend.

Welcoming host in an interesting converted building. There’s not much in the immediate area we travelled out to Staunton to eat which was also a nice town.

Home from home and more. Lovely property with delightful and helpful hosts. The owners have such attention to detail they have thought of every little thing that could enhance your stay and used it. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Don’t miss this.
