If your wish list includes a beautiful wooded location that's private but close to everything, plenty of space for your family or friends to gather and relax, and all the amenities you'd expect plus the comforts of an exclusive resort, look no further than Our Blue Heaven. Named for the old song of the same name, the cabin is ideally located on a magnificent wooded property just five miles from downtown Blue Ridge, surrounded by the wonders of nature and close to hiking trails, trout fishing, water sports and other activities. Inside, it's built for comfort, with inviting, spacious rooms, all of them cozy and handsomely appointed with high-end furnishings in rustic mountain style. It's also built for outdoor living, with over 1100 square feet of covered, screened-in deck space on three levels. You'll find a gas grill, wood-burning fireplace, a five-seat hot tub, a 55” TV, a picnic table and plenty of seating. Whether you want to spend some time alone to catnap or read a book or take part in group festivities, you'll find a place to do it here. Inside, you can gather in the living room, with its soaring vaulted ceiling, impressive stone gas fireplace, and 55” TV, or head to the game room to play pool or watch the game on the 65” screen. Whether you're making gourmet meals or midnight snacks, you'll find everything you need in the well-appointed kitchen, where new top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances - including an electric stove/oven, and fridge with icemaker--drip and Keurig coffeemakers, a crockpot, and lots of granite counter space await. The dining table seats six, plus two at the island. The cabin's three inviting bedrooms, one per level, each have their own full bath and deck or balcony access. The cabin was beautiful and as advertised. It was even better than the pictures. This is the cleanest rental property I have ever stayed at. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful home. When the weather didn't cooperate for a local festival, we happily decided to return home and enjoy the many amenities provided. Nicely decorated. Very clean. Comfy beds... Awesome place to hang out is downstairs on screened covered deck with couch and tv and fireplace if needed... Deers came around throughout the day and evening. Inside bottom floor also has the pool table and entertaining area. Having a master suite on each floor makes this a great place for family getaways as well as couples getaways. Would stay again if in the area. Very relaxing and quiet. This cabin was the perfect spot to decompress. From the well stocked kitchen, large screened in porch complete with fireplace, TV and hot tub, and a game room to keep us busy, this place had enough of a selection to keep us there with no need to leave for 2 days. On the day we did go out to be social, Downtown Blue Ridge was just a 10 minute drive. We are going to favorite this place for future getaways! ##### Ryan K. Drive up to home was easy and very private. We see many deer in the backyard. Blue Ridge Lake is a must. We went on a weekday and rented a pontoon boat. Water was beautiful and not crowded. Being from Florida it was nice not having to watch for gators. Downtown McCaysville was nice and would recommend Burra Burra as a place to catch a bite to eat. The home itself was well equipped with everything we needed. Overall the house was clean but would recommend replacing the shower curtain liner in the downstairs bathroom as there were some mold spots developing on it. There was only room for 3 people in the upstairs living area and the recliner needed 3 people to get it open, then it took someone besides the person sitting there to put it down. The tv over the outdoor fireplace did not work and would have made the guys stay much more enjoyable. We ended up purchasing skillets,a cookie sheet and dish-clothes.
